"Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable, and it all begins with the amazing service from Teaw. From the moment we arrived until well after we left, Teaw went above and beyond in every possible way. After returning to Chiang Mai, I realized I had accidentally left behind my camera and hairdryer at the hotel. Teaw not only contacted me immediately after discovering the items (even though I missed the call), but he also personally arranged for them to be delivered to me via a local driver—at his own expense. He clearly explained how I could collect them, and when I finally received my belongings, they were perfectly packed and undamaged. Teaw is truly a trustworthy and outstanding staff member, and I’m so grateful for his help. As for the hotel itself—it’s a peaceful retreat deeply connected to nature. The lush gardens, blooming flowers, and bamboo-built rooms offer a unique and calming atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was always plenty of hot water. Breakfast was another highlight: generous, delicious, and full of variety. I especially loved the rich white Tom Yum soup, high-quality yogurt, creamy butter, and the wide selection of breads, including both multigrain and white options. The dining area was warm and inviting, and the swimming pool and relaxation zones were absolutely beautiful—perfect spots to unwind and enjoy the serenity around. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the genuine care and kindness shown by the staff. You can feel it while you’re there, and you continue to feel it even after you’ve left. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you again, especially to Teaw—you made all the difference."

"Pai Vintage Garden Resort truly impressed me with its delightful blend of comfort, convenience, and tranquility. My stay in one of their bungalows was fantastic; the air conditioning kept the room perfectly cool, and I was especially pleased with the excellent water pressure and reliable hot water in the bathroom – such a luxury after a day of exploring! Everything felt exceptionally clean, from the common areas to my room, which was tidied daily – a thoughtful touch that made a big difference. For those of us who need to stay connected, the stable internet at a speedy 40 Mbps was a huge plus. Breakfast was a daily highlight, offering a great selection of different options to start the day right. While the resort itself is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, you're not too far from the action. A 7-Eleven is just a 7-11 minute walk away, and the main city center is about a 20-30 minute stroll. What really stood out was the very friendly service from the staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable."

"Perfect location. Walking distance to the middle of Pai and right around the corner from the walking street. Push bikes available to go that little bit further. Lovely staff. Level 1 rooms have direct pool access and private sun beds."

"I had such wonderful time here, that I extended my stay twice. The atmosphere here is calm and everyone is so nice and helpful. The stuff always did their best to help with any sort of question, big or small. The room was nice and cozy even during some rainy days. You can rent a bike at the reception, all of Pai's key attractions are only 10-15 minutes ride away. It was a truly amazing stay, I am sad to leave."

"Budget-Friendly Stay in the Heart of Pai (Walkable to Everything!) Happy in Pai Hotel is a fantastic choice if you're looking for an extremely budget-friendly base right in the center of town. The location is the hotel's biggest asset, making it incredibly convenient for tourists. Location: 5/5 You cannot beat this spot! It's perfectly situated in the city center, making it an easy and pleasant walk to the main Walking Street for evening markets and shopping. There are many popular cafes and excellent restaurants right outside the door, so you'll never be stuck for a meal or coffee. Value: 5/5 The price is very cheap, offering excellent value for money, especially considering the prime location. Rooms & Comfort: 3/5 The rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, I have to be honest—the decor and furnishings make the room look not very comfortable or inviting. It’s functional and clean, but definitely basic. Noise Level: 2/5 A major downside is the poor sound isolation. You can clearly hear noise from the hallway, outside, and sometimes from neighboring rooms. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared for potential disturbances, especially on busy nights or weekends. Overall Impression: If your priority is a cheap, clean, and centrally located place to sleep while you spend most of your time exploring Pai, this hotel is a perfect match. If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, or luxurious room experience, you might want to consider other options. Recommended for: Solo travelers, backpackers, and budget-conscious couples."

"Nice place to stay for a few days. But the shower was a little bit cold at night and early in the morning. But the foggy sunrise here was awesome."

"Overall we through enjoyed our stay, rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are lovely. However, for the price you pay, not receiving house keeping each day (new towels, toilet paper, fresh water etc.) was a bit of a let down. The reception shuts at 9PM and the numbers provided were not contactable one night we called/required assistance. The pool was fine but the hotels blocks the sun so the pool is in the shade for the majority of the day (from about 1PM). The pool was also very cold and slightly murky a few days into our stay. The location is perfect, it backs off of walking street so you can get there in 30 seconds but it's far away enough you don't hear the bars or general noise. We would stay here again."

"I stayed at this charming, bird-themed hotel and found it to be as delightful and fresh as its name suggests. The rooms were spotless and inviting. Thanks to the pure white walls, I was able to use my mobile projector to enjoy Netflix on a massive 100-inch screen, which was a unique experience. The riverside terrace offered a wonderful sense of openness and was perfect for relaxing-highly recommended for couples. One thing to note is that the walls are not soundproof, so if you have noisy neighbors, you may need to be prepared. The location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk to Pai Walking Street, which is the lively heart of Pai, filled with food stalls, shops, and a vibrant atmosphere every evening[1][3][7]. To reach the hotel, you’ll cross a nostalgic wooden bridge; I suggest parking your motorbike at the end of the bridge. Many guests, myself included, enjoyed relaxing along the riverside at night, lying back and soaking in the peaceful ambiance. During my stay, I even helped a child from overseas gently remove a cicada from their room-these insects may be loud, but they’re completely harmless and rather cute. The hotel’s reception area was home to friendly dogs and cats, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. All in all, I had a wonderful three-night stay here. I highly recommend this hotel for couples looking to create special memories in Pai."
