First of all, it is "Yaroslavovo Dvorishche i Torg" — a historical architectural complex that, along with the Novgorod Kremlin, is the main architectural dominant of the historical center of the city. Of particular historical and artistic value is another monument located within walking distance from the hotel – the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior on Ilyina Street — a temple built in 1374 and famous for the fact that it alone preserved frescoes by Theophanes the Greek.
