"We would have loved to review our experience at the Goldene Rose, where we had booked three accessible rooms for guests with disabilities from July 12th to 19th. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were shocked to discover that the hotel is NOT accessible at all! The main entrance has a staircase (we had been warned about this), and the back entrance is impossible to use without assistance (with difficulty!) for each wheelchair (steep ramp, heavy exit door, and a high step onto a narrow sidewalk). This makes it very impractical for anyone trying to get around independently! We asked for an alternative, and fortunately, the woman took action and found one in a 4-star hotel in Valdaora di Sopra, at the same price, refunding our entire deposit. Will this experience help us avoid further inconveniences for residents with their rights and related needs?"

"PHENOMENAL! En voi odottaa palata toiseen oleskeluun. Huoneet olivat tilavia, parveke huoneessa on täydellinen. Isot kylpyhuoneet. Ihana ruoka aamiaiseksi ja illalliselle. Mini golf ulos etuovesta. Menin yläkertaan ja kauemmaksi tekemään oleskelumme erityisen, kun olimme olleet töissä. Ihanat omistajat ja henkilöstö. "

"We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. In general, the hotel (family-led) is managed excellently: - the reception staff is nice, available and try to meet all the demands; - the spa is comfortable and provided; - the room is spacious and in order. The only point is on the management of breakfast/ dinner room: very nice staff, but unclear in explaining any additional costs (e.g. water in carpets/flacons and/or additional breakfast requests). For the rest, a pleasant stay and in a nervous area of Val Pusteria. I recommend to everyone!"

"It has a good location with free parking. The hotel is family-run, reflecting the owner's passion and dedication to providing the best possible service, despite the language barrier (they don't speak English). The place has a more older style, with older rooms, decor, and bathroom fixtures. Our room had a small terrace overlooking the church. There's no elevator to the upper floors. We found the breakfast price high, so we didn't order it (€15). If you're in a room facing the church, which rings its bells every 15 minutes, even at night, I suggest not opening the windows at night because the double-glazed windows do a good job of blocking out the noise, but not completely. There's no refrigerator or air conditioning. There's a sauna and a pool, but we didn't use them. The restaurant is family-run, but we found it a bit expensive (€32 for a pizza), with a noticeably shorter English menu and fewer options than in other languages. It's a good location for visiting Lake Braies."

"We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for more. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine, and Andreas made us feel right at home straight away. A special mention to Liv and Abid, who were simply brilliant throughout our stay. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade, which was a real highlight for us and very much appreciated. The hotel itself is beautiful and well kept, the breakfast was great, and while dinner follows a set menu, it was more than satisfying. We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!"
