Hotel Playa Bocaina

"We hesitated when booking as we normally go for 3 Stars or above, but we are so glad we stayed here. What a super hotel! Yes, the rooms are a bit basic, but they are comfortable, clean and have everything you need (except maybe a fridge - but that's not the end of the world). Our room had a balcony with a side view of the sea and it was such a gorgeous place to sit and take in the views. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast is good quality and there's plenty of choice. We were there in high season and parking in this area of Mojacar is difficult, so the fact they have their own undergound parking (10€/day) is a huge bonus. It's a great car park too, not small and tight spaces like some others. Next time we visit Mojacar, we won't be bothering with the bigger and posher hotels. No, we'll be straight back to Virgen del Mar! Well done everyone at the hotel, you're doing a great job! You have a lovely hotel with that welcoming 'family' feeling."

Camping & Bungalow Cueva Negra

"Very big places. From the mountain you look at the sea. You drive your camper like your place, without leveling. You're standing immediately Waterpass, too very fine. Water fill, grey water and even ( never experienced ) your chemical toilet can be opened and filled on your place. 16 ampere current so you can put your coffee device and heating on at the same time. You are in a cupboard. This is almost always windy with a beautiful view of a lot of trees and rock formations around you, without hindering the Starlink. Superbly helpful reception. Duches and washing water heat, good washing machine and dryer, we have experienced this very often, we can swim in a indoor pool, you can play the balls, tennis and table tennis all within the hands. Fantastic walking routes and supermarkets at 7 minutes' drive and a bread service and a small supermarket at the camping itself. And the last thing is: due to the minimal light pollution, you have a beautiful star sky right in front of your door. So for us a TIGK, FAT 10 !! Thank you for having a 3 months to be stuck here."
