"Mittenwald is amazing town, and the post is a lovely hotel. Staff were all very friendly, we don’t speak a lick of German but they still made it work. The room was large, especially for European standards, and comfortable. Also came with two free beers from the local brewery every day. There is no air con but with the window open even in summer it was pleasant. Downside of the window open is the bell tower (but even that is kinda nice), big upside is the smells of the bakery across the street in the morning. Simply amazing. Breakfast was good but don’t go down too late or it’s a bit limited."

"The room was very warm and the breakfast restaurant had a good view, much better than my room 5. Breakfast is very good, fried eggs need to add 3 euros, boiled eggs are free. The automatic coffee machine cannot be made by itself and must be made by the waiter. If you drive by yourself, the car can drive nearby, but if you are not driving by yourself, you will walk about 1.6 kilometers from the train station. A large section of the uphill is not a 24-hour front desk, so it is not convenient. Please be mentally prepared. There is no obvious sign, and it is inconvenient to arrive at night."

B&B HOTEL Mittenwald

"Perfect location right next to train station, with supermarket next door. The drink and food are affordable with great Alp view. Hotel room is clean but quite small, no amenities expect hand/body soap. Otherwise the staff are friendly and very informative"
