The main problem with staying at this hotel was the service when there was an issue with the shower. The shower was not draining water properly - you couldn't have the water on for more than one minute before water started leaking out of the shower, into the room, then into the hallway. I was with a group of 4 people, one showered on our first day after a long day out, and we were on the couch on our phones. This is normal to decompress after a long day of being out at the beach and whatnot before dinner. Water leaked from the shower to the hallway to the room with the couch. When we noticed, my friend stopped the shower and I called maintenance about this issue and they said they would send someone. After 30 minutes of water pooling on the floor spreading more, and my friend trying to clean it, I called reception again. They were not kind to me about this issue. They said someone would be coming shortly and hung up on me. Maintenance came after 10 more minutes, and he was quite rude about the issue. He blamed us for the mess, about not noticing sooner, and told us to call as soon as we noticed - which I did! He said he fixed the issue, cleaned up, and then left. He made sure to tell us that we didn't clean it as we should've. This was incredibly rude. The hotel was fine afterwards - the pools are cool, but the hot tubs are not hot. My friends and I did not get treated kindly even though we were kind to staff, and did nothing to disturb other guests. This hotel is good for the proximity to the beach and the restaurants around it, but the service is not great.

We stayed for a two days and everything was amazing! Very clean , renovated room. Nearly the complex were everything that you need. It’s really close to the beach. This is the biggest beach in the Malta.

Je ne recommande pas Personnel zero Serviettes ils ne les changent pas pendant 3jours Frigo avec beaucoup de bruit On ne peut pas dormir Eau non réglable soit trop chaude soit trop froide Climatisation avec beaucoup de bruit La cerise sur le gâteau 11h ils toquaient sans arrêt pour sortir Bref très mauvaise expérience

Bon hôtel très bien situé, il possède une mini supérette au niveau -1 et il y a aussi un centre nautique de plongée qui est très intéressant pour les activités. La piscine au sixième étage est topissime. Vous avez la plage à moins de 500m à pied ce qui est excellent. Malheureusement j’ai passé quatre nuits dans cette hôtel et ma chambre n’a été nettoyé qu’une seule fois du moins la femme de ménage a seulement fait le lit et pas nettoyer la chambre. Les draps n’ont jamais été changé durant mon séjour et les serviettes elles ont été changés qu’une seule fois, ce qui est très déplorable pour un hôtel.

War mit der Lage sehr zufrieden, die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür. Vom Hotel aus sind mehrere tolle Wanderrouten bzw. Naturparks zu Fuß oder nach kurzer Busfahrt erreichbar (zB Foresta 2000 oder Il Majjistral). Der Hoteleigene kleine Supermarkt war überraschend gut sortiert, grade auch für eine vegane Ernährung und dabei preislich völlig in Ordnung. Mitarbeitende im Hotel alle sehr freundlich. Einziger Minuspunkt: von den Fluren her war im Zimmer immer deutlich viel zu hören (jede Tür, die geschlossen wird, sprechende Gäste, die Reinigungskräfte..).

Great location if like near beach with bus stops 2 minutes walk from hotel. Nice walk (long 4km and uphill) along the beach and up past the red tower with great views of Gozo to the north and lovely coastline to south. The hotel has warm indoor pool beautiful rooftop pool (little windy at the moment but good view across bay and up to well lit church. Great bar downstairs good deals also. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Meals good at reasonable prices (cheaper than outside restaurant). Gym has easy to use equipment for a good workout. Room was well equipped and clean, my only con was TV was a little small and selection of channels was minimal. Highly recommend. Will go back again

Had a lovely stay here at the Luna Holiday Complex, the service from the staff were spot on, the rooms were spacious and clean however could do with a bit of a revamp in the bathroom but all in all, we had a very good stay and would come back here again.

Pro: the room was comfortable and there was a sensible selection of crockery. Housekeeping were efficient, maintenance were quick to fix problems, and the hotel was generally clean. The mini market has a decent selection and is reasonably priced, with a clever free water deal at certain spend levels - good way to keep tourists from dehydration! The Sky pool and bar were also well maintained. Con: the apartment is poorly laid out and of no benefit for a couple, or even two couples because the double bed is in the main living space. It's only useful if you have children. The kitchenette is beyond basic and has no food storage except the fridge. The Sky bar is poorly stocked - with such a wide range of Maltese wine available, it's a shame that the bar has only cheap 'red' or 'white'. Some of the pillows have totally shredded stuffing and should be thrown out. Suggested improvements: Put small tables and lighting on the balconies Improve stock in bar Provide some food storage in the kitchenette

What a fabulous hotel. The reception staff are first class, but I would also like to highlight the hardworking cleaning and maintenance staff who we couldn’t fault. The roof terrace and pool are a delight with a food and drinks bar ‘manned’ by friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurants close by and super bus service to most destinations. One star deducted for the busy road, and the work which was being done on the entrance during our stay. All in all a great hotel catering for most tastes.

Not our first stay here and was pleasantly surprised with the new look. The work that has been done has made the hotel look inviting and modern. We upgraded to a superior room which was amazing. We will definitely be booking again in future. We only had bed and breakfast but as the room is also self catering there is a kettle, toaster, hob, mini cooker and fridge to store and cook any food. There is a supermarket underneath the hotel which has a lot of choices. The breakfast was a continental buffet which had a good choice of foods. We didn't use the outdoor pool as we went to the sky bar and pool area which is for over 17's only. I love this area but find the sun loungers a bit too intimate as you are very close or right opposite other people so chose to sit on the chairs by the bar. The pool was lovely and the view from both sides of the hotel are immense. The beds are comfy and housekeeping make the beds and change towels daily unless you do not require them to. The hotel and bar staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar offers an array of drinks and cocktails and food. There is a restaurant that offers food on the night to. If you ask they will also put sports etc on on the bar. There are bus stops close by but we used bolt which were cheap enough and very good. The hotel is local to the beach, restaurants, spa and pop eye village. I would recommend visiting Valletta, Mdina, Mosta dome and a boat trip to Comino. The walk into mellhia town is a very steep hill and bolt charged less than 4 euros so it was a no brainer although we did walk back down. Love Malta, Mellhia bay and the Luna Hotel. Perfect holiday was had. Thank you
