"Although it's a 4-star hotel, the room facilities and breakfast food weren't particularly special! The room was big but lacked enough hooks for clothes/towels, and there was only one small trash can in the bathroom. Water easily leaked out of the shower! On the first day of our stay, there was still dust and water cup stains on the desk, so the hygiene wasn't up to par! To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed."

"We had communicated our arrival time via chat, but when we got there, no one was around. Luckily, some other guests let us in. We tried calling and chatting to get in touch, and eventually just picked a room ourselves. The story does have an unpleasant ending, but this initial experience doesn't reflect the rest of our stay. The riad is actually very well located, the staff are friendly, and a lovely lady makes a delicious breakfast every morning with homemade bread and cakes. So, we think the bad experience was more of an unfortunate circumstance, especially since we arrived as the daily fast (Ramadan) was ending. A tip for the riad would be to get a doorbell that links to their phone. The amenities are basic but good. The value for money is excellent. It's clean, and with a good bed and a delicious breakfast, you don't need anything more. And they made sure we got a taxi back to the airport."

"A beautiful, clean riad in the heart of the medina. Taxis can take you to the nearby square. Access to the riad is by foot or bike. In my case, the taxi driver couldn't get to the riad, so he stopped in the square nearby, asked for my phone number, called the riad, and told them to come pick me up. About five minutes later, a guy came and helped me roll my suitcase to the riad. So, the service is excellent! The rooms are as pictured, small, but have everything you need: 1.5 liters of water per person, soap, shower gel, shampoo, a good, powerful hair dryer, and air conditioning. The room on the first floor opposite the entrance was quite humid. You can leave your luggage in storage after check-out. They give you a key to your room and the riad's front door, which is convenient so you don't have to wake anyone late at night. The riad is located in a dead-end street, so it's quiet and peaceful; sounds from the main streets are muted. However, the noise in the rooms is so loud that you have to almost whisper in the evening. The breakfast was delicious, though slightly different on the second day. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. There are small shops selling groceries and other goods near the riad. The sights of the medina are within walking distance. I even walked to the Majorelle Garden from the riad. When checking in, be sure to check about the city tax, as my booking voucher stated that I paid for everything upfront, but the riad demanded an additional tax. Ultimately, I had to sort things out and spend a long time explaining that I didn't owe anything. Incidentally, the girl working on June 2nd interrupted me when I tried to object to the tax request, didn't let me speak, and generally tried every possible way to extract the tax from me, ruining my impression of the staff. However, the day before my departure, Souleymane at reception was very helpful in buying me a bus ticket to Essaouira. It was his first day on the job, and it was clear he was interested in making sure the guests enjoyed their stay at the riad. A huge thank you to Souleymane! If you need a taxi, the staff can arrange it for you; please contact them in advance. And a tip: the day before your departure, plan your exit from the medina with your luggage. Unfortunately, I didn't book a taxi in advance and ended up having a hard time finding a tuk-tuk driver who agreed to take me from Jemaa el-Fna Square to the riad to pick up my luggage and then to the train station. It was a memorable trip, and it left me a little nervous! Overall, everything was great, except for the tax I'd already paid and the humidity in the room."
