Marmaris Alkan Hotel

Oda pis ve aşırı tozluydu. Yerde toz höbekleri ve önceki misafirden kalma çöpler vardı. Yastık ve çarşaf lekeli ve kokuluydu. Dolap çalışmıyordu. Odayı 2 yataklı olarak ayarladık ama tek yataklı geldi. Yatağı ikiye bölme işini bizim yapabileceğimiz söylendi. Ek yastık istedim ama akşam hiçbir çalışan kalmadığı için veremediler. Otoparkı yok. Etrafındaki mekanlardan dolayı çok gürültülü. Kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum.

Great location, we had to pay extra to move rooms as we were put in a 1st floor room no balcony which you need when on holiday,nice hotel needs a good clean around the pool area,didn't see anyone do this we stayed for 11 days??? Beds and towels clean but cleaners didn't clean the shower,sink,or toilet ?wouldn't stay there again.better hotels close to Alkan,so would stay in the area not the Alkan.

This hotel is a real delight. Lovely staff and every part of the hotel is clean. The beds and towels are changed daily. Nothing is too much for any member of the hotel staff, they are all approachable and very friendly. The breakfast is a Turkish continental style. I’m a picky eater and always find something to have. The rooms are a good size. The pool area is lovely as always and has a very relaxing feel. This has been our fourth visit to this hotel, and yet again it didn’t disappoint. We hope we can make it a fifth stay next year. I would like to thank every member of the staff at the Alkan, for making our stay as enjoyable as always.

We were fairly dubious after seeing some bad reviews but let me put your mind at rest, clean hotel, very decent breakfast, lovely warm and clean pool, lots of sunbeds , excellent location, cheap pool bar , surrounded by shops and restaurants but balcony door blocks out all noise, rooms are good sized , cleaners all friendly and the dolmus literally stops at the front door a few minor negatives , fridge not brilliant no cold water in bathroom sink and the bathroom is like a sauna, air con is free and is okay but we also hired a fan , you can also request extra pillows from reception. Check out is 12 noon so no rushing to get out your room, overall an excellent hotel and would recommend it without hesitation.

Just returned home from a fabulous 10 night stay at the Alkan. We had our doubts after reading the negative reviews but don't believe them as we couldn't fault this place. Yes rooms are dated but where clean and beds really comfortable and rooms very big with wrap around pool view balcony. Pool area could do with a little TLC but other than that it was amazing. Our daughter loved the pool couldn't get her out off it. The bar staff and reception staff where very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We enjoyed so much already planning going back next year but for 14 nights. See you next year hotel Alkan.

Arrived about 4.20 at hotel told room wasn’t ready even though check in said 2pm asked to upgrade to a room with a balcony at a charge of £5 per night which wasn’t t a problem eventually showed us to a room at 5.20 room had no balcony went back to reception showed me another room with the tiniest balcony and very small dated room so decided to keep original room the walls had black marks on them bedding rough and wall fittings falling of in bedroom, no where to put clothes only one bedside cabinet with a small drawer and 1 shelf in wardrobe so had to keep lots of clothes in suitcase. I wouldn’t go as far as saying the hotel is spotless. Never got a sunbed but what I saw of them they had seen better days, I found staff unfriendly, breakfast not my taste. Best points air con very good and WiFi. Would I stay again definitely not. To top it off before we got there I received an email from Figen reception manager asking me to take her some whiskey from England which I didn’t mind when we got to the hotel they said she had left so we were stuck with it and we don’t drink it. Would I stay again definitely not.
