"The Hotel was very oldy worldy, Lovely, with lots of history. The location was beautiful and quiet an ideal spot for the wedding we attended, the old barn part of the pub was lovely for the wedding, ideal. Now the pub, food was nice in the pub although my potatoes delivered with my meal were that late that id eaten half my dinner before they came out. Staff were very accommodating and removed the additional cost of £6 for potatoes from the Bill. The Hotel sections of the establishment is now in need of a freshen up, lick of paint. For a building built in A.D 1147 i suppose you would expect it but there is maintenance needed. Cleanliness was ok but needed hoovering around the bed posts a bit closer and a few cob webs removed from the room ceiling. Other than that it was a lovely stay, couldn't thought the staff and the surrounding area, lovely walks along the Thames."

"Stayed here for a London visit with two children. Although the hotel is very conveniently located in the city centre, with access to the M&S foodhall virtually straight behind it (which was great), the parking was quite awkward. There is a drop off point outside the hotel, although we couldn't manage to use it on arrival due to cars being parked there. We parked in the Sainsbury's down the road, it was a fair walk away, and there was no direct footpath along the road, so you had to weave through side and back streets to get there safely. Despite the distance not being much, it was an awakward walk. Check in was easy. Room was clean and nicely decorated. We ate in the hotel both nights due to the excellent value of the breakfast and dinner meal deal they offer, which was significantly cheaper than eating elsewhere. The was a great menu with plenty of choice, food was nice although service was slow, with only two members of staff seemingly serving in the restaurant and reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. We walked to the station (Maidenhead Central) to catch a train to London. It was quite a far walk but doeable. The train took around an hour. Service was regular."

"I stayed in this foreign hotel with my boyfriend for a week, to tell the truth, we liked it) it is an atmosphere of the old English style where you are greeted warmly at the reception, always ready to help) And I especially liked the view from our balcony of the famous Thames, on which cute yachts circle... . we will come back again)"
