"Breakfast was offered proactively at the front desk. The hotel has diffused oxygen, which is helpful for people experiencing altitude sickness. The heating was excellent, with the room temperature around 25-26 degrees Celsius. The rooms were also quite spacious. The breakfast staff were very friendly. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. Overall, the hotel was quite good and left a deep impression. There was one minor issue: if the faucet in the sink was turned up slightly, it would spray water onto the floor."

"The hotel accepts foreigners (as of July 2026), one of the very few that do. The room was large and the amenities were in good condition. The hotel even provided an oxygen machine free of charge. Do note that there's no elevator, but the receptionist offered to help carry my bag upstairs. There's not much to do/see in Maduo itself, but for whatever it's worth, the hotel is about 700 meters away from the center. Overall, a very good option, and possibly one of a handful available for foreigners."

"There was no oxygen in the room at all. The oxygen display showed no change in the equivalent altitude, which caused my family to suffer from altitude sickness. I've been to countless hotels on the plateau, and the oxygen machines always showed a change, but yours didn't. Owner, please reflect on this and check it!"

"The hygiene was poor; there were stains in the toilet, and I asked the staff to clean it again. The drain in the shower faucet hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The environment was relatively good. I asked the previous staff member for the front desk's phone number, and she said it was in the room. Couldn't she have given it to me? When I got to the room, I couldn't call her, so I had to run around looking for the staff member, who apparently didn't know either. It took more than 40 minutes from check-in to settling into the room. Either the door or the lock was broken. I really don't understand why Ctrip gave it a three-star rating."
