"Saapuin hotelliin saapuessani varatuille majoituspaikoille, jotka osoittautuivat hyväksymättömiksi saapuessani. Se oli syntymäpäiväni, ja pitkä matka ja stressi äkillisesti ei nukkumaan, Fieldhead hotelli tuli pelastus. "We were excited to visit The Gate, it’s a short drive from Looe and easy to find and park. The dining room has large open windows looking into the garden and an interesting shape room that we liked. The waitresses gave good service. We ordered some small plates to share which included the turbot with a very attractive clotted cream sauce and green oil, pig cheek, hispi cabbage with asian flavours, and chicken wings. It was all really lovely and beautifully presented. We are really looking forward to visiting again."

"Our second visit to this wonderful hotel . Brilliant location with fabulous hosts Martin and Gill for whom nothing is too much trouble . They have excellent local knowledge as well . Hotel cozy and comfortable with convenient access to local transport . Breakfasts are a delight with lots of choice and food cooked to order and beautifully presented ."

On jopa hyvin varattu rehellinen baari. Sijainti on lyhyt kävely kaupunkiin. Hotelliin pääsemiseksi, ajaa hyvin pääsy. Erittäin suositeltavaa."
