"The staff here is sooooo cool. As soon as I arrived, they took my heavy luggage and settled me in in a nice room. AC is icy cold, high speed wifi. Room is clean and essential. I had some struggle with using Wechat to pay with a foreign card, and they helped me adding cash to WeChat pay. I was feeling the altitude sickness and they helped me with O2 and effective medicine loco uses. Some details such as they use pressurized O2 bottle as supply instead of the cheap household regenerative ones. They don't charge for bottle of water. These gestures go a long way! Finally, the facility itself is a ******* style courthouse with an art store next to it and location is inside of Barkor street old town. This enabled me to explore near by foot. Even with DIDI, it was quite convient - just about a 5 min walk to get to the pick up spot. I like this place so much I extended my stay!"

"This hotel is super close to the Potala Palace! The room was clean, bright, warm, and really comfortable 👍. The breakfast service was also great, with delicious local specialties that were well-balanced and healthy. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and I even got to enjoy views of the Potala Palace while having breakfast. The complimentary afternoon fruit and local yak yogurt were also a lovely touch and very tasty 😋. Overall, for my first trip to Tibet, it was an excellent experience. I'd definitely stay here again next time!"

"We stayed in the courtyard family room at the Atour Hotel Lhasa Potala Palace. The room layout was spacious enough for a family, though the only minor drawback was that it faced the hotel's inner courtyard, so there was no street view and less natural light, making the room a bit dim. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the old city. You can walk to the Potala Palace Square, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street in just 5-8 minutes. After a day of sightseeing, it was lovely to stroll back to the hotel without the hassle of constantly taking taxis, which made exploring Lhasa with children incredibly convenient. The room also had oxygen equipment to help with altitude sickness. Overall, our stay was excellent, and I highly recommend it for families. If natural light is a priority for you, consider booking a street-view room instead."

"I didn't do much research before coming to Lhasa, so I'm glad I stayed here. The owner has travel partnerships and can help recommend routes, book tours, and get discounts on the Princess Wencheng show, which is perfect for people like me who are too lazy to do research. We visited several places around Lhasa, and the scenery was truly beautiful. The itinerary was also quite smooth, without having to compare prices or research routes everywhere. The guesthouse is conveniently located, close to Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. In the evenings, you can drink tea and chat in the lobby, with adorable Labradors wandering around – it's incredibly relaxing. The owner is very friendly and approachable; he listens attentively to your needs and helps you make arrangements. The overall experience felt more like a trip than just staying in a hotel."

"Grear place, beautiful fourniture and very quiet and calm. Two walk distance from the tourisic street and few good restaurants not far. Internet worked pretty weñl even on the 4th floor. "We booked an upscale 5-star hotel in Lhasa. The hotel offered comprehensive facilities and very spacious rooms. However, the pillows were a bit too high, which made sleeping uncomfortable for our necks. Moreover, the signage to the guest room floors was unclear, causing us to get lost and end up back in the third-floor lobby before a staff member finally escorted us to our room. The hotel's policies felt quite impersonal and rigid. We had booked a room type that included breakfast, but upon going to the restaurant in the morning, we were denied entry as they claimed our breakfast wasn't registered. To make matters worse, they also refused to refund the breakfast cost. This felt completely unacceptable!"

"The hotel is beautiful and the suite is very spacious, especially the bathroom which was as large as a public restroom. The room facing the outdoor garden was also lovely. Breakfast was ordinary, quite crowded, and a bit noisy. The main issue was that other five-star hotels offer dedicated butler service, but this one doesn't. The front desk staff were cold, although the other service staff were quite good."

The room itself was clean and tidy, generally quite good. However, all the hotels I booked in Nyingchi had smart toilets with bidets, which this one didn't have, making the hotel feel a bit dated. We drove ourselves and encountered a slight issue with parking, but the butler was very proactive in resolving it. Overall, we were satisfied."

It's hard to find rooms with air conditioning in Lhasa, but this place had it! As a Hainan native, I absolutely loved the air conditioning! If you don't have any plans, just ask the owners. It's super cost-effective, and you won't encounter any rip-offs. If you don't have any plans, you can have a barbecue in the garden with friends you meet in the courtyard, and play Monopoly at night.
