"Skalla Kalloni is a gem of a resort. Perfect for couples. It has to be one of the most authentic places on the island. If you love nature and short walks to the beach, great local restaurants and tavernas, it is perfect. It’s a small cosy little village with a gorgeous little town square. The Aegeon is a lovely hotel at the end of village and provides a gorgeous beach walk into the town. The staff at the accommodation are second to none. It is the hotel we have returned to for the last three years because of this. The amount of returning guests says it all about how special this hotel is. The Aegeon has a rhythm all of its own and on Greek Nights it comes alive! The days are relaxing by the pool or a gentle stroll to the beach. Bar service is excellent and bar food is delicious - recommend the Greek Pizza! Staff are so friendly, welcoming and ensure we feel at home for the week. The rooms are always well tended by the cleaning staff with plenty of fresh towels and bedding changed regularly. A/C in the rooms for those hot nights and balcony space for relaxing. It is the perfect hotel for looking out over the wetland - you never know what beautiful birds you will spot so taking binoculars is a must! Will definitely be returning for our fourth visit!"

"We are long term Mark Warner holiday makers. Of the 4 remaining resorts this would rate lowest. It really needs an update. The tennis courts are falling apart, the bikes break and the pool area really needs more shade. Also the staff need a wake up call. Where is the enthusiasm, the passion, the expertise. Disappointed"

"Meillä oli 2 viikon majoitusta varasimme B&B mutta söimme kerran ja oli kiitollinen, emme menneet kaikki osallisiksi. Huoneita oli mukava AC ja majoitustilat ovat tilavia. 2 kauniita uima-altaita. Tulee varmasti takaisin lyhyen linja-auton kaupunkiin, joka on runsaasti taverneja. Ei suositella, jos taistelet kävely ja käyttämällä askelmia"

(seriously you cannot sink how hard you try , it just hold you up!!), and nice helpful staff, they also have apartments to the back . Breakfast was excellent , and an exceptional amount to choose from . Will definitely stop here again when in Lesvos"
