"I stayed at this hotel several times last year. It's close to West Station, and while the facilities are average, the service used to be great. This time, however, the biggest impression was that the service has really gone downhill; it felt like a small guesthouse rather than a standardized chain hotel. I arrived in the morning, and the front desk staff didn't even ask what room type I'd booked, just flat-out said there were no rooms available and I couldn't check in until 12 PM. This isn't the service I'd expect from a HUAZHU hotel."

"The photos are completely misleading and untrustworthy! Just checked in, and there were cookie crumbs or something similar left by the previous guest all over the table. The shower was dirty and tiny; anyone a bit on the heavier side wouldn't even be able to shower comfortably. The sink was also dirty. On the second day, did they just make the bed during cleaning? I ended up getting bumps all over my body. The bath towels weren't even tidied up, and they didn't replace the toothbrushes. Is that what they call cleaning??? The only advantage this place has is its location, nothing else. The price is more expensive than hotels within Beijing's Second Ring Road, and the environment is terrible! I definitely won't be staying here again."

"I've stayed at many Hyatt properties in different cities, including Park Hyatts, but the Hyatt Regency Lanzhou has become my absolute favorite. The gym on the 7th floor is spacious and open, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the Yellow River – perfect for working out while enjoying the scenery. The 6th floor even has a squash court, which is a rare find, and all the facilities are well-maintained. We swam in the hotel pool for a bit before heading to the executive lounge on the 16th floor for dinner. The 'Shacong Banmian' (vermicelli with wild onion) in the lounge was incredibly fresh and authentic. The overall dining experience, in fact, surpassed many popular online-famous restaurants. After dark, we checked out the famous Zhengning Road Night Market. We waited in line for a whole hour to try the super popular No. 44 Old Ma's Milk Egg Rice Wine. But surprisingly, the version offered at the hotel's breakfast was even more amazing! The Hyatt uses higher quality milk, and the egg flowers were plump and rich, making its flavor much better than the night market's. The Hyatt Regency Lanzhou truly set a high standard and built up a lot of excitement for our subsequent eight-day trip through Northwest China."

"The hotel is located very close to the Lanzhouxi railway station , it serves the purpose of coming and leaving from Lanzhouxi. The hotel was kind to provide shuttle service to and from the railway station. It's close to the Gansu museum. We had a short visit to Lanzhou and this hotel suits me. Hotel staff were kind to assist you. The hotel is clean. A new fresh up renovation will be an asset. I needed extra water, someone delivered it personally, greatly appreciated."
