New Lanark Mill Hotel

"Henkilöstö oli hyvin ystävällinen ja se on sijoitettu mukavassa asennossa vieressä joen. Mutta ei ollut julkista liikennettä Lanark hotelliin, joten minun oli kävely. Lisäksi Wi-Fi huoneessani oli heikko. Aamiainen oli mukava ja nautti mill workers aamiainen!"

"We received a very warm welcome on our arrival from the hosts Alan and Avril. Instantly we felt at home in the lovely and homely feel created by the hosts. Our rooms like the rest of the house were done to a very high standard with very comfortable beds with luxurious bedding and furniture to complement the room. The ensuites again done to a very high standard with exceptional cleanliness. The products provided, hand wash, shower gel and shampoo etc. a very nice touch. Cooked breakfast was excellent with local produce being used along with a choice of cereals yoghurt and fruit juice. We loved the rural surroundings only a short distance from the town of Lanark and the motorway, we would certainly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back."

"Tämä oli ihana pikku BnB! Huone oli spotless ja tuntui brand new. Kodikas ulkopaita ympäröi kukkia ja kasveja. aamiainen oli hämmästyttävä; erittäin suosittelee pino! Olin pysäköintipaikka juuri huoneen ulkopuolella. Palaan varmasti, kun olen taas alueella! Kiitos!"

"Homely comfortable experience with calming rural views. Very clean with good quality finishes. This is not a hotel, it's a beautiful rural farmhouse. Location is great. Very quiet and somewhat remote. Some of the food is sourced from the farm. Rooms are large. The family provide a very welcoming service. We travelled here with mountain bikes and had the use of the rear storage sheds. Lovely people & sociable guests."

The Village Inn

"Friendly reception on arrival. Was sent a text with a number to meting incase I needed it. Love the tartan carpet. Clean, fresh and well stocked. Extras available if needed for tea, coffee, etc. don’t be put off by the separate shower rooms. They are literally two steps over the hall and robes are provided. Lots of fluffy towels left too. I needed an early start so was left a huge continental breakfast. Remember that the bar is only open Thursday through to Sunday. It is on a busy road but good windows and blackout blinds help. Parking was available outside. Nice green opposite. Great for an overnight stop on my way to Edinburgh."
