"My visit was average. Front desk person (AA male evening shift) was very pleasant. My room was okay however my sister's room was unpleasantly odorous with an unexpected portable humidifier in the room. We enjoyed our breakfast in the hotel restaurant and the waitress was very nice. The wedding food was just okay. The hotel needs to definitely upgrade overall."

"My wife and I went to the Outer Banks for a day and a half adventure that involved needing a hotel room. I chose shutters based on being located near one of the music venues we would be visiting. We are both free pleased with our stay.
It was of course in the winter and off-season so we didn’t have any crowds anywhere which was perfect for us.
It was everything we needed and expected and nothing we didn’t need. It was perfect."

Enough parking for 1 vehicle preferably.

This is a classic but updated "beach box" style construction 3 bedroom 2 bath house located just three lots back from the ocean in Kill Devil Hills in a quiet, residential neighborhood near the end of a dead-end road.

Dogs are not to be left alone unattended in the house uncrated for extended periods of time. Be sure to pick up after your dog in all areas and keep your dog off the furniture. This home was fully remodeled inside and out last year and is thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. It is an ideal beach retreat for a small family of four or two couples. The home features two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, including a spacious king master suite with a private master bathroom. The master bedroom also includes a cozy sitting area and direct access to the backyard and deck.
The second bedroom offers a queen bed along with a twin bed, making it perfect for children or additional guests. Fresh linens are provided on all beds, along with bath towels, beach towels, and kitchen towels for your convenience.
Laminate and hardwood floors run throughout the home, complementing the modern kitchen, which features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. The space
This space adopted a Blue Whale - Travel with Purpose when you stay with us and assist in global efforts to help save this beautiful endangered species! No steps to contend with! Covered Tiki bar and propane grill greet you at the entrance which leads into full size kitchen and dining area for four. Spacious living room with smart TV, large couch and rocking chair! Two bedrooms with dresser and closets in each! One king bed and one queen! Your own controlled AC/Heat in every room! One full bath with shower/tub combo (Note - there is one step up into tub).
Enough parking for 1 vehicle preferably.
If your group is larger than 4 there are two other spaces that are available to be rented separately! Inquire with your host if you are interested in these spaces as well!
Guest access
Everything in your space is for your enjoyment including the Tiki Bar, propane grill, and outdoor hose at entrance. Inside is all yours except for the locked owners closet.
Other things to note
One bath towel, wash cloth, beach towel, and beach chair provided per person!
Private beach access for all Pelican guests is directly across from driveways.
Nearest public beach access is Arch St.
