"I was very disappointed with my stay at Kalkan Beach Park Hotel, especially considering that we paid significantly more for this hotel compared to other options in the area. Cleanliness & Room Quality: The room was extremely small and cramped. There was a persistent sewage smell inside the room, which made the stay very uncomfortable. In addition, the air conditioning was not working properly, making it difficult to relax, especially during the hot weather. Location: The location was very misleading. We booked the hotel expecting to stay in Kaş, but the hotel is actually about 45 minutes away from the city center. The property appears to be marketed as being located in Kaş, which is not accurate. The hotel is situated down a mountain, and the road leading to it is in very poor condition and full of stray dogs, making access unpleasant. Service: The service was poor from the moment we arrived. No one offered to help with our luggage, despite the hotel having many stairs and no elevator. Guests are expected to carry their own luggage up and down multiple flights of stairs. Communication was also difficult because most employees spoke very little or no English. Amenities & Beach Experience: Our experience at the beach was particularly disappointing. When we arrived at the beach area, an employee immediately approached us and told us that we could not sit in certain areas because they were reserved for hotel guests and foreigners. After we explained that we were hotel guests, he reluctantly allowed us to stay for that day but told us it would not be allowed the next day. To this day, I still do not understand the difference between “today” and “tomorrow” or why hotel guests would be treated differently. To make matters worse, we could not stay at the beach for more than five minutes because it was completely overrun with flying insects. This was clearly an ongoing issue that the hotel should have addressed to make the beach usable for guests. Overall, the hotel did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness, location, service, or amenities. Given the price we paid, the experience was extremely disappointing and not good value for money."
