Very good and good location

Friendly personnel, good location close to the city center, pretty nice restaurant. Pretty poor breakfasts with nearly the same options every day. There is electric kettle in room but cord is too short and I had to use cup as stand while boiling water. Bathroom is average and saw better times, hot water 24/7. Premium rooms have AC but no fridge. No coffee table only narrow console along the wall you can use to store something. Wardrobe is just big box with one shelf and several thin clothes hangers. Stable wife connection. Pretty good price to quality ratio comparing with nearby places.

Friendly staff and a good breakfast. Happy they have tea/coffee making in room which is very rare in Uganda. Nice gym area and have been creative with outdoors making it a nice place for computer work or chatting to friends.

初めてのホテルだが、評価も高かったので、宿泊してみることにした。到着時は、周りは緑に溢れ、かなり期待値が高かったのだが、部屋に入って驚いた。 清潔でシンプルな部屋はむしろ好きだが、あまりに殺風景で、トイレバスに至っては、まるで刑務所のよう。 ペーパーフォルダーは壊れたまま放置、洗面台にハンドタオルはなく、アメニティーは一切なし。 多くの旅行者は、自前で準備しているので問題ないと思うが、大抵は手を洗うための石鹸は置いてあるがそれもなし。 トイレットペーパーはタンクの上に直置き、他はとにかく何もない。 電気ポットと水は500mlが1本あった。これは良かった。 アフリカやUganda を連想させる飾りや、絵画を飾っているホテルも多いが、部屋には何もない。 部屋に入って、すぐにこのホテルを予約したことを後悔した。部屋にあるタオルはバスタオル1枚のみ。ペラペラのバスタオルでホテルで見たことがないほど薄く、間違って置かれているのではないかと、何度も目を疑った。 同様のタオルがバスマットとして、2つ折りで床に置かれていたので、非常に心配になったほどである。 トイレに設置されている洗浄ノズルは壊れて水がでない。 2泊を予約してしまったので、そのまま滞在したが、チェックアウトまで清掃には誰もこなかった。 部屋の鍵はカードキーではなく、昔ながらの差し込んで回す鍵だ。非常に固く、女性やお年寄りには難しい。鍵が掛かったか分かりづらく、セキュリティ面でも非常に心配。 良かった点は 1敷地内にショップがあり、水が買えること 2シャワーからお湯が出たこと 3充電のための差し口が机の下にあったこと。 ウガンダで50泊以上した経験からこの価格を支払うなら他にホテルはいくらでもあると感じた。 私はカンパラで二度と来たくないと感じた初めてのホテルでした。 予約クラスは、プロモーションの一番安いものではありません。私が宿泊した部屋がたまたま不具合が多かったのでしょう。

Very clean, kind people. The restaurant has a wider variety of food, drink and they have a very clean vibe. There is a nice shop.

Tranquil garden delight in the middle of Kampala The staff are super friendly. Restaurant was nice and food was delicious. Bed mattress is foam, not spring. The lighting in the room is very bright. Some bedside lamps would be really helpful. The garden areas make for a really tranquil setting. Overall, a fantastic stay. Thank you so much!

I had a great experience at Explorers Hub in Kampala. The place is spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. It's located in a quiet yet central area—perfect for exploring the city. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit, always ready to assist with anything I needed. You can really feel the care they put into making guests feel at home. I’d definitely stay here again!

The cleanliness

The service at the restaurant was not the best other than the gentleman at the barista. However, the service at the reception from Stella and a dark gentleman was good. The slippers in the rooms need to be cleaned.

Best value in the middle of Everything! The EH is a fantastic value. Room was excellent- very clean, air cond was great, hot shower. The facilities - restaurant, gym, store in premises at Lee great. The best part, this hotel is smack in the middle of everything without the busy aspect found across most places in Kampala. If I go to Kampala again, definitely will stay there.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and they seem to be getting better every time.
