Bedford Hotel

We had a lovely stay at Bedford Hotel in London. The location was excellent, making it very convenient to get around the city, and the staff were warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The only downside was that there wasn’t air conditioning in the room, which could be a little uncomfortable at times, especially on warmer days. Overall, it was still a very enjoyable experience, and I’d happily recommend it for its great service and central location.

Great hotel in a good location staff where super friendly and lobby has air con and rooms have fans and able to open windows fully would stay here again if I was returning we stayed here while attending a Harry Styles concert

the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, I loved that there was a lift, I loved that there was a water bottle filler in the lobby, and how you could close the windows double to block out sound

Good location, room on the front benefitted from the secondary glazing - no noise issues. Fan in room helped with temperature. Breakfast had plenty of choice and fresh.

Excellent single room very modern with nice view, located well for the embankment area and theatres.

This is the first hotel I’ve stayed at that doesn’t have a fridge in the room by default. Apparently, you have to specifically request one and even after requesting it, the fridge was never provided during my stay. For a hotel at this price point, I found this really disappointing and inconvenient, especially when you need somewhere to store drinks or food. The fact that I had to request a basic amenity and still didn’t receive it made the experience even worse.

The hotel is in a good location in the heart of Bloomsbury. The staff were lovely and very helpful.  However, the hotel rooms do not have air conditioning. I knew this before I booked, but I took a chance.  The rooms were like a furnace.  I asked to be moved from the first room, as it was not inhibitable at that temperature. The staff were very helpful and moved me to the first floor where it was just a little cooler.  However, the hotel is also on a very busy, noisy road, so having the windows open, (by which there was no choice, it was too hot not to), meant disturbed sleep. It is an unfortunate, essentially it is a nice hotel, with lovely staff, but for the reasons above, I would probably not choose to stay here again.

There was a heatwave outside, so it was lovely to come to the cool lobby, although the receptionist soon dropped us from cloud nine, telling there is no AC in the rooms... Cool water available in the lobby was a great bonus.
