"Excellent inn with an equally excellent pub attached! Stayed here as part of a road trip holiday with a friend and we both wished we could have stayed another night after an excellent meal with my favourite pint (theakstons best). Definitely one we will need to return to. Highly recommended. Breakfast included was an added bonus and it was a perfect way to start a day on the waterfall trail- kept us going! Many thanks to all for a pleasant experience."

"Stayed for a couple of nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with everything you would need for your stay. Menu choices were very good and each meal we had was excellent. Would definitely go back. We really enjoyed our stay. If I had to find fault ( and it’s really not a deal breaker) but there’s not much drawer storage in the room we had, as the one drawer under the hanging rail had the bottom coming out (just needed re-strengthening) and it seemed the decorator had run out of paint whilst doing the window wall as it’s half painted . Didn’t detract from the coziness though and adds to the character of the place."
