Hanoi Hostellit

This is my third time staying in this Vietnamese capsule hotel. Previously, there was only one free packet of snacks in the room but this time, there are up to 20 kinds of snacks and drinks for sale in the room. I purchased one can of red bean porridge to eat for breakfast and it costs me 50000 Vietnamese Dong. The capsule hotel is located past the flight view cafe and Bamboo Airways Operations Office on the third floor. Other than sleep and using the mobile phone or laptop, the other activity to do that can be done between 6 am and 8 am the next morning is plane-spotting at the flight view area outside the capsule hotel. I am very happy to witness Drukair's launch of charter flight from Hanoi to Paro on 9 November 2025. The Sun PhuQuoc Airways check-in counter can be seen on the third floor immediately outside the capsule hotel. The strategic location of the capsule hotel is of convenience for overnight transit travellers but there are no shower facilities outside the capsule hotel.

One of the worst customer services we have had in more than 6 months in Asia. Upon arrival, the receptionist assigned us two upper beds, despite us arriving at 6:00 AM and having booked weeks in advance. Politely, using both English and a translator, we asked to change to bottom beds, as we noticed upon entering the room that out of the 6 beds, only the two of us had checked in, and we asked if we could be near each other since we are a couple. Her response? ”Impossible! We are fully booked! The system does not allow changes.” Repeatedly. We innocently thought it was a system problem. Since we had a second consecutive reservation, we managed to get her to agree to change us for the second booking. When the day arrived, she moved us to another room, much worse, with bottom beds but separated. We complained to stay in the same room, negotiating for just one bottom bed since it seemed ”impossible” to have both, even though it was 9:00 AM and almost all the beds had been vacated by guests! At first, once again ”impossible,” but after insisting, she agreed to only one bottom bed. When asking to change the top bed because it was right next to the door—which rattled and practically didn't let me sleep for two nights—again: NO, IMPOSSIBLE. After having to ask her several times, she reluctantly agreed and did both changes in ONE minute. Was it THAT difficult? And also, clearly it was NOT a system issue in the end, which was very dissapointing. The beds are comfortable, but if you have a bed in room 3A next to the door, the door mechanism does not cushion the impact and the door makes the entire wall next to your head in the cubicle rattle VERY loudly. They should have a way to muffle the door noise. A LOT of street noise comes in through the balcony door. If you are a light sleeper, better look for another option. The cleaning staff makes a great effort to keep everything clean, as it is a hostel where they don't give you ”slippers”; therefore, all the dirt from the street comes in with your shoes, and when stepping on the wet bathroom floor from the shower, it gets spread everywhere. They give you clean towels every day, which is an interesting plus. In the end, it was a mixed experience, with a very dissapointing aftertaste because of the receptionist treatment. If you are looking for cheap facilities for a short stay, it is good. If you have problem with noise, be careful of room 3A. Location and neighborhood is nice.

The main thing that make this hotel standout is about it location, close to most of Hanoi most famous spots. For the price, it is very good choice considering the convinient of the location. The room is normal, I book a Deluxe Queen Room, the view is good, however the amenities are quite old, since my room is on the top floor, the sound of the elevator is clear and really annoying. The hotel pressure also not good, and even though the room have a nice bathtub, the water heater is a old small device and not enough to fill the bathtub with hot water. The room is quite spacious though. All in all, if you need a hotel with good location to explore Hanoi on foot, this hotel is a good choice, but keep in mind that the room may not satisfy you. And I personally dont recommend the room on the top floor.

The hostel is wonderful. Everything went at the highest level, i was greeted, told where i could exchange money, buy groceries for the night. I wanted to stop for one day, but in the end I stopped for two. The room is clean, the bathroom and toilet are also clean. At the entrance, I was given a towel and slippers (new, packed). Breakfast is not included in the price, but in the morning I saw bananas for 5,000 dong, there is a cafe nearby where you can have a snack for 40-50, 000 dong and drink delicious coffee for 30,000 -40,000. I wish the hostel continued prosperity! All the best ______________________________________________________ Хостел прекрасен. Все прошло по высшему уровню, встретили, рассказали где можно обменять деньги, купить продуктов ночью. Хотела остаться на один день, но осталась в итоге на два. В номере чисто, в ванной и туалете — тоже. Дали полотенце и тапочки(новые, упакованные) при въезде. Завтрак не включен, но утром видела бананы за 5.000 донгов, рядом есть кафешки, в которых можно поесть за 40-50.000 донгов и попить вкусный кофе за 30.000-40.000. Желаю хостелу дальнейшего процветания! Всех благ.

I stayed in this friendly place for a month. Polite staff, delicious breakfasts and a very homely atmosphere. Toilets are clean, showers too. The house itself, in which the hostel is located, resembles a French house from Provence. A nice lady at the reception will come to your help at any time of the day, concerning life in the hostel, and will also help you navigate in Hanoi. As I already wrote, the hostel provides delicious breakfasts, which are served every morning in the lobby - breakfasts are very full, so you will not go hungry. Also, upon request, they can prepare lunch or dinner for you, and you can also use the bar. In addition to food and drinks, the hostel provides laundry services, you can rent a bike or bicycle, and you can also order various tours of Hanoi and the suburbs of Hanoi. I was on a tour of Hanoi from the hostel; I was satisfied with everything; I learned more about the city. Overall, the hostel is suitable for both short-term and long-term stays - both the location and the services, as well as the attractive prices. I will recommend it to my friends and acquaintances.

Very clean rooms, nice and clean white bedding. Each bed is equipped with a mini fan (in case the ac isn’t cold enough), mini locker and bed side light. There’s also a larger personal locker under each bed. The bathrooms and showers are on 3rd floor. There’s also a rooftop sitting lounge/area. Towel are 15k to rent- large, white and clean The hostel provides loads of services and the location is superb. Right next to old quarter, short walk from train street, night markets, hoan kiem lake etc. You can get to Noi Bai airport via private taxi (from hostel) or walk to 86 bus stop and get on bus 86 (every 45mins, 45,000đ), also a short walk from hostel My favorite cheap eats and places nearby: LAN SẦU- Mía Sầu Riêng-Nước ép- sinh tố : my fav smoothies place, mango + yogurt is a must try (35k) Banh Mi MAMA: 3 min walk away, breakfast banh mi place, their beef pan for 60 k is a must try Mr.XiXi Shop TheNorthface: somewhere around here (old quarter) you can buy elephant pants for just 70k Bún Riêu Tóp Mỡ Mọc Giòn Cô Hương Béo: this place, or the one next to, delicious bun cha for 50k. Next to train street Overall spent 4 nights and 5 days in Hanoi, was so much fun ! Would recommend

What a perfect little place to stay if you have a late arriving flight or a very early morning one. I found the staff here extremely friendly and they used Google translate to communicate. The room was immaculate and offered fantastic value. They offer breakfast at an additional charge , very reasonable and their iced coffee is superb, highly recommend. An ideal place to stay for a night.

Super friendly staffs, they have laundry service and super secure. They often clean your room every day. But no items were lost. They often replace the towels. The closet sounds so funny when closing or opening so that’s a plus. It’s outside of the main city, which is a plus if you want peace and quiet. People there can’t speak English fluently, but they always take the initiative to use their phones as translator as we tourists cannot speak Vietnamese as well.

Checkout is at 11am. I had a bus to another city in the evening, the owner allowed me to check out at 4pm. I recommend it.

This is a fine hostel for the price. A lot of place your bed. Shower room just fine. While hanoi is all noisy and fast, the locations is just average market streets. Which is fine for Hanoi. Managers are easy to communicate. I prepaid my booking online. At first they missed it. But double checked afterwards. And returned money. So this is fine place for fair price.
