"Hotel La Vigne Hakuba was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel has a beautiful minimalist design and feels clean, cozy, and very welcoming. Both the lobby and rooms were pleasantly scented, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The concierge team was extremely helpful and the overall service throughout the stay was excellent. The room was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed with a very functional layout. The bedding was also very comfortable. The hotel also provides excellent facilities for skiers, including a dedicated storage and locker room for ski equipment, as well as a separate shower room where guests can freshen up and change after skiing on the day of check-out. Overall, a fantastic stay at Hotel La Vigne Hakuba — highly recommended."

Hakuba Mominoki Hotel

"Stayed late June to see the stunning Itawake view. No skiing, just soaking in Hakuba’s nature. Hotel was peaceful, surrounded by trees — perfect for relaxing walks. Staff were friendly and super helpful. Room was clean, a bit small for what we booked. Breakfast was okay, mix of Japanese and Western. The onsen was the real highlight — so refreshing after a day out. Even without snow, Mominoki was a great base. Cozy, quiet, and welcoming. Would stay again."

Hotel Oak Forest

"An older-style hotel, but very clean. It has separate onsens for men and women. Breakfast is served as individual sets. The hotel also has a dinner restaurant, which is convenient because going out to eat without a car isn't easy. The futon-style bedding was comfortable and warm. The bathroom was a bit small. It snowed while I was there, and it was beautiful because the hotel is located in the mountains."

"Treasure Hotel, the boss couple are very nice, basically meet all the requirements (including ski resort pick-up and early use of hot springs), the hotel layout is very cozy, many small details make people feel very warm, including the freedom to enjoy the massage chair after soaking in the hot springs, and free popsicles. The ski resort is not far away, you can ask the boss to drive you, it only takes about a minute to drive, it is a great experience."

"the property is very convenient to be walkable into the Happo One area with all restaurants, convenience stores and the main shuttle bus to the Tokyo City and the mountain around Japan Alps. the room is very spacious with all amenities, the bathroom and the shower room to be in separate which is good for the family in 3-4 members to staying in a same room. the breakfast services is tasty with all selections in western and Japanese styles."

"Wonderful stay , clean and great food for breakfast and dinner. Friendly elderly couple that run the place and kudos to the awesome hospitality. It would be nice if the hotel signboard is clearer at the point of entry from the main road,, missed the entrance a few times."

"The hotel is very clean, and the kitchen is fully equipped, which would be satisfying for those who like to cook. I rented a room with a sauna, and the sauna room was also very clean and easy to use. The only downside was that there was some construction noise from the road next to the building during midday, and it took a bit of time to figure out how to use the bathtub. 😂"
