The main living space offers a deep, comfy sofa perfect for afternoon naps as you feel the summer breezes flowing through the home. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a central island perfect for gathering around and spending time with friends and family. The kitchen is also equipped with a washer and dryer for guest use. In the dining room, you will find a large table perfect for family gatherings.The backyard is a real show stopper - perfect for all of your outdoor activities. Enjoy the sprawling lawn to layout, play games, or any other activities you can think of at the beach! Take time relaxing in the hammock or the lounge chairs during the day, or have a BBQ with the grill and picnic tables under the string lights in the evening. Finish your night by gathering around the fire pit under the stars. We are afforded a "Stop Light" intersection on 1st - during the busier times of the year this is a huge positive in the OBX because those access points have a stop light with a crosswalk to cross N Croatan which can be busy during peak times. Kitty Hawk Bay is due Northwest from our Cabin. We highly recommend you head down that way to the Bay Ave Walking/Biking trail for sunsets at night, but also at anytime during the day because the Bay Drive trail runs along the bay for several miles in each direction. You can use this for walking, running, biking. It also leads to the Avalon Beach Kitty Hawk Bay Boat Launch where you can launch boats, jetskis, canoes, kayaks, etc. Additionally, if you take the trail South, you can actually walk or ride bikes to the Wright Brother's Memorial from the back way along 1st Street.The garage has a secondary fridge for guest use. It is also equipped with at least 6 bikes - sometimes up to 10 for guest use. Also in the garage are some lawn games including corn hole and bocce.STRICT NO SMOKING & NO PET POLICY - If you are found to be smoking within the home or bring a pet, there will be $500 fine.This is a family home - we use it to vacation and visit family in the OBX. Break Time is a Dream Vacation Destination located in the Bermuda Bay community in Kill Devil Hills! This beautifully decorated townhome is fully furnished with every convenience and many UPDATES were made during the 2026 winter season (see below). This family-friendly beach condo offers 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, a fully furnished kitchen, bistro table, eat-on bar, dining area, living room, fireplace, free WiFi, and cable/smart TV in every bedroom. The garage has been transformed into a game area and comfortable gathering area. There are multiple decks to relax, and a charcoal grill to barbeque and enjoy outdoor dining. This immaculate property sleeps 7 with one King bed, one Queen bed, and fun bunk beds with a lower full size mattress and a twin up top with a pull out twin trundle mattress. We provide clean sheets and towels for your convenience and comfort. The upper level is a large guest suite with a bunkbed and pull out trundle, and a play area with a foosball table. The lower level garage has been renovated into a great entertaining area with a TV, Nintendo Wii, dartboard, a full-sized table and lounge furniture, and plenty of space to play various games. There is a parking space in front of the garage and an extra reserved parking space just for this property. This home consists of four levels. Ground floor has the garage and entrance, second floor consists of the master king bedroom and bath, Queen bedroom and bath, and laundry. The kitchen, dining, living room and half bath are located on the third level, and the fourth floor hosts the bunk room and a full bath. This lovely townhome is located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. Break Time (formerly known as PB&J) offers a fun community swimming pool (a mini waterpark with lazy river, splash pools and waterslide), clubhouse with lounge, pool table, entertainment area, and fitness center... or load the beach wagon with our beach chairs, and cooler and enjoy the beach access that provides a fully equipped bath house with on-site showers, restroom facilities, and plenty of parking. Biking / Walking distance is just at 1 mile to the ocean, and if you choose to drive, there is ample free parking! If you are interested in bike rentals, Ocean Atlantic Rentals will deliver bikes for your stay as well as other beach equipment. There are several must see attractions close by. Be sure to visit the Wright Brothers Memorial, which is within walking distance, Jockey's Ridge State Park (the world's largest living sand dune), The Corolla Wild Horses, The Lost Colony, take the ferry over to Ocracoke Island, and visit our beautiful lighthouses. A day of food and shopping in Downtown Waterfront Manteo or Duck is always a treat! Grocery stores, shopping, restaurants and entertainment are all very close by. We provide a roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, liquid dish detergent, a trash bag, and a dishwasher tab to get you started. As for linens, you will be provided with clean sheets, a bath towel and wash cloth per guests. You will find hand towels in bathrooms as well. We do not provide beach towels. We would LOVE to welcome you as our guests! Check-in starts at 4pm. Check out is at 9:30 am. The housekeeper will arrive no later than 10 am on check-out day. Early check-in and late check-out are typically not available during the summer season.
