"Staff at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The room was amazing, great view and very clean and quiet. We loved the complimentary coffee! My only complaint is paying 30$ for parking overnight. I feel like if i’m paying almost 300$ for one overnight stay parking should be free. Otherwise everything was perfect!"

"Ei suositella. Sisäänkirjautumisen odotus oli liian pitkä, vastaanotto oli hidas ja palvelu oli ajattelematonta. Huone oli pieni. Lomakeskusmaksu oli voimassa, mutta lomakeskuksen päänähtävyys oli kasino. Ruoan toimituksesta huoneeseen veloitettiin 5 dollarin palvelumaksu ja 18 %:n tippi. Tämä hotelli on hintansa arvoinen, enkä yöpyisi siellä uudelleen."

"Huone oli erittäin siisti, melko tilava ja valoisa. Hotellissa on myös yksinkertainen kuntosali ja maisemat olivat ihan hyvät. Läheisyydessä ei ole paljon ravintoloita, vaan kaikkiin on mentävä sillan yli Richmondiin. Hotellin alakerran ravintolassa on kuitenkin hyvää italialaista ruokaa. Jos kävely miellyttää, voi sillan yli suunnata Richmondin iltamarkkinoille tai muihin lähistön ravintoloihin. Joenrantaa pitkin kulkevaa polkua pitkin pääsee kävelemään outlet-keskukseen. Hotelli tarjoaa kuljetusbussin, joka lähtee hotellilta 20 ja 50 minuutin kuluttua tasatunnista ja liikennöi lentokentän ja hotellin välillä. Jos olet Vancouverissa kauttakulkumatkalla tai lyhyellä yhden-kahden päivän majoituksella, tämä hotelli on hyvä vaihtoehto."

"I called the hotel before my flight to ask about the shuttle bus service, and the girl who answered was like a robot in her answers and didn't seem interested in giving me very detailed or friendly answers. I was a little worried about finding the bus and asked if there was anything I needed to know about how to find the bus, and instead of explaining that the bus would have the name of the hotel on it (which was the case in the end, but isn't always the case in my experience- and I have travelled a lot) she just very robotically said to go to the charter pick up area. The shuttle bus was the main reason I booked this hotel, and I was a little bit choked by this interaction. The room was okay, it was clean, but confusingly unlit. The only light connected to a switch in the room was by the door, the rest of the room was lit only by 4 lamps (one of which didn't work) and it was incredibly dark in the room, even in the morning hours after the sun rose. The comforter on the bed was just a piece of batting sandwhiched in between two white flat sheets rather than a duvet cover. It would have been a nice service to have brought me a toothbrush to my room when I called down to the front desk and requested one, instead they made me come to the front desk in my pajamas for one. The hallways stunk of **** covered up by perfume. The guy who checked me in was nice and friendly, even though he had a lineup of people waiting to check in late at night and that must have been a little stressful for him. Overall, I felt the customer service at this hotel could be improved. Even if $120/night is not wildly expensive for Vancouver, it's still a lot of money, and the customer service doesn't need to suffer as a result."

"Very very pleasant stay. We used it for an overnight 14h layover before continuing our trip - location is unbeatable, 1 min walk from check in areas - staff was all around very friendly - high quality (even though a bit old), but very well maintained and also high quality bathroom equipment (soaps, cremes etc). - beds were extremely comfortable - breakfast is à la carte with views of the airplanes / terminals - gym is small but all you need is there"

"Perfect for a long layover, the Sandman hotel provides complimentary airport pickup and drop off in 15 minutes intervals. The receptionist was very friendly, he upgraded my room to a loft style, the room was spacious and nicely decorated. One thing that was little disturbing is the noise from the air conditioner."

"We love the water slide. The hotel has everything you need besides restaurant connect to it only provide lunch and dinner. For breakfast, we have to go Danny’s nearby. The facilities are good if you consider it as an airport hotel. There are swimming pool and gym. Water slide in swimming pool is our favourite. I recommend who has kids to go! It’s fun!"

"Oikeasti en ymmärrä, mistä nämä huonot arvostelut tulivat. Sijainti on erittäin mukava, 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä lentokentältä ja ilmainen lentokenttä ohjaa joka 30min. kunnes 11:30pm (Otin viimeisen linja-auton). Hotelli on päivätty, mutta se on hyvin ylläpidetty ja puhdas. On myös pieni ravintola ja erittäin mukava pieni japanilainen ravintola lähellä - bonuspiste. Receptionists olivat apua ja ystävällisiä. Onnellinen tunti ravintola oli niin hyvä myös."

"Beautiful view and nice staff We arrive far earlier than the expected check in time but the staff still being helpful to get us a room with good views, and the room is tidy. Staff who clean the room(on the 4th floor) every morning is nice and welcoming too, wish her a good one"
