"This is an amazing campsite! The facilities were brilliant - hot showers, a lovely pool area and a nice restaurant too. The best part was by far the bar. They had a lot of drinks to offer at very good prices. Staff are incredibly friendly, in particular Johan who took time to get to know us. We enjoyed our daily conversations with him not only when we were at the bar but whenever we saw him around camp too. This campsite also offers a really lovely bushbaby experience. Every evening they lay out pieces of fruit under a spotlight so you can watch the bushbabies come and eat. The staff are knowledgeable and caring about these animals and see them more as part of their family than wild. Overall, a great stay and a wonderful experience."

"We arrived very late after a luggage fiasco at the airport, but were greeted warmly and invited in. A dinner featuring farm-fresh food was kept warm and waiting for us. It was such a nice place, and I only wish the plan to arrive during the day had worked out. Next time! Breakfast the next day was amazing."

"As a family of 5 adults, we stayed here only for one night at the start of our 9-day Namibia self-drive before heading to Etosha National park the following early morning- about an hour away. The direct booking was made very easy via Hilga and the owner, Christie accommodating our needs. Unfortunately, due to car issues, we very very delayed and arrived late at night. We were getting concerned but Hilga and Christie reassured us that safe driving was important, they would even meet us at any place and pick us up if necessary. When we did arrive, they gave us great dinner and a then cake to celebrate a delayed mother's day on behalf of our sons. We had to leave early in the morning, a packed breakfast was given. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy the wonderful rooms and settings. Overall excellent staff, owner, food and setting. If we are lucky enough to return to Namibia, will definitely rebook. "

"Tämä kaunis maatilalla Grootfontein ulkopuolella on paljon peliä verkkovierailua ympäri ja on hyvin rauhallinen. Meidän leirin takana oli hieman kävelyä “lion King Rock” - joka oli hämmästyttävä näkymä alapuolella kentät ja metsät. Olemme vain jääneet tänne yhdeksi yöksi, mutta luulen, että voit varmasti jäädä 2 koska heillä on paljon kävelyreittejä ja he voivat viedä sinut nähdä heidän rinoja peliauto tai jalka (jos et saa onnea ja nähdä niitä Etosha kuten me). Erittäin kaunis paikka ja hieman surullinen emme voineet jäädä enää. Erikoisleirillä oman keittiön ja kylpyhuoneen alueet ovat hieman luksus, ja me rakasti kuinka tilava se oli."

"Meillä oli ihana oleskelu Gabus Safari Lodge ja voimme suositella sitä. Camping oli hyvin ylläpidetty ja kauniisti sijoitettu. Firewood oli meille tarjottu, joten meidän ei tarvinnut huolehtia jotain, ja juomaveden oli helposti saatavilla myös. Kylpyhuone oli paras leirintähuone, jonka olemme koskaan olleet – spotlessly puhdas ja todella hyvin tehty. Ruoka oli erinomainen, varsinkin peli liha, joka oli todellinen korostaminen. Peli ajaa pyöristetty pois meidän oleskelu täydellisesti – Ohjeet olivat paitsi tietoisia, myös uskomattoman ystävällisiä, tekemällä matkan todella erityinen kokemus. Kaikki ympäri suuri oleskelu – olemme varmasti takaisin!"

"This is a gorgeous lodge and the best staff from top to bottom! There has been much thought in the making of this beautiful place. From our welcome at reception by Hilga and Ashley to the grounds and wildlife that are cared for by Sau, Joseph and many others I’m sure. The lodge is just a unique setting with great chalets that were clean and comfortable thanks to Elly and Salom. Now the meals and dining plus bar area look out onto the property so that was quite enjoyable as were the evening fire pit under the stars. The meals prepared by Chefs Victoria and Frances were top notch delicious and the warm and wonderful service by Monika and Paulus was second to none. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. Thanks to everyone who made our stay memorable and thank you Christine (the owner) who had such a wonderful vision in making this lodge and the work she does at her lodge and in the area of Tsumeb."

The reception refunded me but was that only because I was present? I then got bitten by bed bugs that night in the bed. My arm is still full of bites a week later. "
