"Had the delight of staying here during a business trip where to start waking up and looking out over the water seeing the boats and a cruise ship just made getting out of bed all that easier,I arrived late it was dark couldn’t see much from the window but the morning was just spectacular,breakfast was fast and nice and hot which is rare in other locations,the staff were all friendly and accommodating ."

"We are in our 80s and returned to my wife's birthplace. The accommodation and location was just perfect for a weekend stop over and the manager was very helpful. Our room a bit small but overlooked the Clyde. What a great view plus the Waverly docked right outside our window. This was a bonus and which outweighed the size of our room. Perfect"

"My room was clean but cold no way to turn on any heat! bathroom okay! Breakfast was shocking, a roll with bacon and fried egg brought to my room, instant coffee and LL milk which I had to make in my room. The cost was £95 per night, a total rip off and unacceptable, to augment my breakfast I had to buy fruit. Unfortunately I'd booked 3 nights and £ 285 was taken from my card before I arrived otherwise I would not have stayed! There is a Scottish Tourist Board 3 Star plaque by the door, I suspect that was awarded to the previous owners who ran an excellent business with good cooked breakfast. Scottish Hospitality does not exist here! People will never return but the owners obviously do not care! No Dining room or Lounge so I'd have been better staying in a HOSTEL. I'm sure other guests will have had a similar experience. Absolutely Shocking!"
