The Not-So-Good: Inconvenient Location: The hotel is situated quite far from major department stores and local dining options, making it inconvenient if you want to step out for food or shopping without transportation hassle. Inconsistent Housekeeping & Service: Housekeeping missed restocking basic amenities during the stay. Even worse, after specifically requesting extra towels at the reception, they were never delivered. Disappointing Breakfast Selection: The breakfast buffet lacked variety, serving the exact same items every single day. Compared to other hotels in China at a lower price point, the food and overall value fell significantly short. Verdict: Given the service lapses, repetitive dining options, and out-of-the-way location, the value for money simply isn't there. I would not recommend staying here, especially for business travelers who value efficiency and reliable service."

The surrounding transportation options are super convenient too – seriously, what's not to love? Plus, the room service was very thoughtful; they asked about my check-in time and if I had any special requests. Tiki and Candy were both so nice! All in all, a truly wonderful stay!"

"As an established five-star hotel, the InterContinental Foshan Poly never relies on gimmicks to please guests. It perfectly embodies understated luxury. The dome with its handcrafted starry glass ceiling is incredibly impressive, instantly washing away the stresses of travel the moment you step inside. We stayed in a high-floor lake-view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of Qiandeng Lake, both day and night. Watching the city lights come alive in the evening created a truly magical ambiance. The room decor was elegant and sophisticated, the linens were soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom was spotless and bright. The service throughout our stay was impeccable; Nicole and Andy were warm, attentive, and thoughtful without being intrusive. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. It will definitely be my top choice again when I return to Foshan."
