"The raid owner and his staff members were all very helpful and friendly. My husband was suffering from gout and had difficulty in walking. They greeted us at our tour drop off point and took care of our luggage. Since we arrived late, we ordered their dinner and it turned out to be a great decision as the meal was just delicious. The Raid is quiet and easy to access, highly recommended."

"Wow! Riad Mayfez was a highlight of our tour around Morocco. This stunning, elegant, traditional Riad in the heart of Fez, was an oasis of peace and comfort. We were so wonderfully well looked after by all the lovely staff who attended to our every need and made the effort to befriend and understand us in a short space of time. We miss them - management, wait staff, chef, house keeping - everyone. Everything was lovely. The suite was spacious and beautifully designed with the comfiest bed and lovely balcony and bathroom. The food was delicious and the dining settings, outside in the courtyard or inside in the dining room, with wonderful music and romantic atmosphere were so conducive to relaxing meals and good conversation. The pool was pretty and refreshing. The rooftop at sunset overlooking all of Fez has stayed in our hearts . Mayfez - a magical place to remember forever. Highly recommend."

"The hotel is very tired and needs refurbishment. This place is only for younger people seeking “authentic” experience. We were two couples in our 70.s. The lighting in the room is dim and the rooms dingy. It was very tricky to get to from our travel bus- we had to walk 15 minutes along winding dark lanes and one of our group had a sore knee. Our room had 14 steps to the bathroom and toilet, which is not easy for those who need to go to the toilet in the night. There is no TV and no ability to make tea or coffee in the room. It certainly was not our cup of tea."

I did a hammam bath service at the hotel spa and loved it! Chaimae was my hammam attendant and I had a really relaxing lovely experience that I would highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again."

They were also really flexible and helpful when I needed to change my booking dates last minute. The location is a bit secluded we definitely got lost trying to find it for the first time 😅 but that’s part of the medina experience and not really a problem. Henkilöstö oli uskomattoman apua ja ystävällistä koko oleskelumme. Huone oli hyvin mukava, ja koko riad tuntui hiljaa, rauhallinen, ja rentouttavaa jälkeen kiireinen kadut ulkona. Yksi asia, joka todella kosketti meitä meidän oli tarkastettava hyvin varhain seuraavalle matkalle, ja johto valmisteli leipää ja vettä meille bekal matkalle 🥹 Pieni, mutta todella muistollinen. Suositeltavaa, jos haluat rauhallisen oleskelun Fesissa."
