"Ylimääräinen kuningashuone oli tilava, hyvin puhdas ja mukava. Myös hyvin iso kylpyhuone, jossa on iso kylpy ja erillinen suihkukuutio. Sänky oli erittäin mukava ja huoneessa oli kaunis näkymät. Henkilöstö oli ystävällinen, ystävällinen ja apulainen. Ajoimme hotelliin A38 hotelliin ja reitillä oli kitka (kuten monet reitillä Devonissa ja Cornwallissa), mutta reitillä Haldon Forest oli kaunis. Ajoimme toisella reitillä Iden kylän läpi A30, joka oli hieman laajempaa! - Jäisin varmasti taas."

Exemplary hosts, beautiful surroundings and 5* lodges - not many places you can visit where you can honestly say everything has been thought about. This visit we booked one of their alpaca experiences and spent a lovely time feeding and meeting the herd. Highly recommend for a peaceful visit and great location for visiting Exeter and the surround area."

"Tapasimme ystäviä täällä herkullisen viikonlopun lounaalle. Kaunis, tervetullut lady ja pubissa oli lämmin ilmapiiri, jossa oli erilaisia pieniä huoneita, suurempi ravintola ja valikoima mielenkiintoisia maalauksia ja vanhoja kuvia. Lounasvalinta oli erinomainen arvo, jossa oli hyvä valinta ateriaa. Meillä oli kalaa ja siruja ja vegan hamburgerin - hämmästyttävä 13 puntaa pääkurssin juotava ..... Varmasti ansaitsee olla säännöllinen kokouspaikka!"

"Just had dinner from the BBQ Menu (whilst the kitchen's being refurbished) which was absolutely amazing. We shared the beef brisket and the cauliflower complemented by the sides and salads and it was all just stunning on the palate. Can't wait to return to test the new menu once the new kitchen opens. Don't hesitate, just go. Adam the chef and his team were so friendly and welcoming. Fantstic experience all round !!!"

"Hidden beauty. The restaurant and rooms are to a high standard.we stayed in the mary suite you get choice or shower or bath I loved that. Slept like a baby the beds were so comfortable. Fridge with milk in tea,coffee great. Roast dinner was amazing 👏 hats of to that chef"

"The food was fine and the service OK, but be aware that the menu and pricing are nothing like what’s on their website. We went in based on what we saw on the website, and the menu was much more limited than we expected (themed nights), and the food somewhat more expensive."
