"Excellent and very pleasant stay in a unique building in a most remarkable town and region filled with many things to do. The room was comfortable, quiet, well appointed and our night was restful and restorative. The staff was very accommodating, provided individualized attention and was knowledgeable regarding the town and the region. Access to the hotel was easy and our car was parked right next to the hotel. Looking forward to an opportunity to return to the area and stay at La Licorne again."

"We had a really lovely stay here. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The team were welcoming, helpful, and a real part of the experience - it has a real family feel. We ate at the hotel; lovely breakfast and dinner. The hotel buildings were really picturesque - and a nice touch to have a set of photos of the re-furbishment. In particular we loved the lounge - big inviting sofas around a wood fire, encouraged us to sit and rest after a long journey. Handy for a trip to Giverny for Monet's garden as well."

"I was able to relax and enjoy a quiet stay in a room with a bathtub. If you are planning to go to Monet's garden in Giverny and are staying in the Giverny area without going back to Paris, I think you will stay here. (The nearest station is Vernon Giverny, and you can take a shuttle bus from the station.) When making a reservation, it is better to check in advance whether the room has a bathtub (some rooms do not). I thought it would be nice to spend time in a provincial city in France. The room was clean, even for a Japanese person. Also, if you paid in advance with a numberless card, you need to take a screenshot of the card number in advance and show it at the reception."

"We received a friendly welcome from the hosts. They all speak English which is a bonus. The room was rather small - it was a room for 2 - but clean and the bathroom was nice with a heated towel rail, which we don't always see in some hotels, and it came in handy as the early mornings were very cold. The breakfast was superb, and the stewed prunes and fruit salad were sublime. Delicious cheeses and thick creamy yoghurt complete the gastronomic delights. Definitely enough to set one up for a day of exploring the region."

"I chose this hotel at the boarding, parking and how nice, enough restaurants nearby. Super fine room, good bed, air-conditioning that worked, a breakfast where everything was enough. But I hadn't expected this hotel to have no lift to the first floor, but I'm sorry that is not mentioned in the hotel's description. Another comment: "Do not make assumptions as a receptionist, if you haven't spoken to the guest" ...er was said Auf Wiedersehen .... because I was sitting among the German guests to breakfast??? Watch for these assumptions it makes your hotel less valuable."

"Stayed here for 1 night on our way back to Calais. What an amazing little place on the banks of the Seine. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was out of this world. I wish we could've stayed longer. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, we had a village view but you can get river views. I have to admit it's been one 🕜 f the best hotels we've stayed in while in France over the years. So all I can say is that the hotel is fantastic and give it a try. Can't wait to return."
