"Some minutes walk from the center, which is not harmful. Equipment in general good, rooms and especially bathrooms should be a little lighter. The sustainable breakfast without packed portions convinces. The service in the room and breakfast could be a little more attentionful (note in detail when checking out, may be better than in the near future). We had included coffee/cake in the price. The cappuccino was good, the cake wasn't so, so we didn't take it on the second day. A couple at the neighbouring table loud him on that day. We had booked the room for the special price. That's all right."

""A real gem in Emden! Hotel Faldernpoort exceeds all expectations. The location is just perfect - quiet enough to relax, yet only a short 15-minute walk from the bustling city center. The beautifully renovated rooms exude elegance and provide the ideal retreat after a busy day. The service is an absolute highlight of this hotel. The reception is manned around the clock and the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The in-house restaurant serves delicious food until late in the evening. The variety and quality of the food is simply outstanding. The breakfast buffet is a real feast for the palate. From freshly baked goods to a wide selection of hot and cold dishes - there is something for every taste. And the cleanliness throughout the hotel also deserves the highest praise. Overall, I can recommend Hotel Faldernpoort without reservation. A place where hospitality, comfort and enjoyment are combined at the highest level. "Kävimme vuonna 2019 (vanhan omistajan alla) ja elokuussa 2023 hotellissa. Joka odottaa täällä nykyaikaista hotellia, on pettynyt täällä. Ei, tämä hotelli on vierailtava, jos etsit jotain muuta. Hotelli on vanhassa rakennuksessa Preussin aika. Jopa kun saapua (pysäköinti suoraan talon, näet tämän hieno restauroitu vanha rakennus. Sisäänkäyntiin tulee huomaamaan, että täällä on erityinen historian viehätys, ja hotellissa on yhteensä 20 huonetta eri kokoisia ja varustettuja. Täällä ei ole hissi vaan iso portaikko. Olin huoneessa 28 ensimmäisen kerroksen päässä kävelykadulla. Käytävällä on etuhuone/vaatekaappi, joka pääsee huoneeseen (lisäoven kautta). Huone on jaettu makuuhuoneen kanssa vuode ja keittiö, jossa on suuri nahka sohva, pieni pöytä pieni jääkaappi ja kahvinkeitin. Takana on kylpyhuone. Kaikki on hyvässä tai hyvin kunnossa ja puhdas. Tarjottu aamiainen on normaalia. Hotellihenkilökunta on mukava ja aina apua. Päätelmä: Kun palaamme Emdeniin, palaamme tähän hotelliin."

The team had prepared everything very festively and served the 40 or so people wonderfully and professionally - simply excellent service! The atmosphere in the newly designed room was just perfect and helped make the celebration an unforgettable experience. The food and drinks were delicious and were praised by all the guests. We were also very impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of your staff. It was a pleasure to enjoy the celebration at the Goldener Adler. The team at the Goldener Adler played a key role in making the birthday a complete success. We are already looking forward to the next visit and the next celebration!"
