"The location was absolutely stunning in the heart of the jungle but only a short walk to the nine arch bridge (you can even see the train passing through the trees during the day). The bird song and jungle noise was so peaceful, the rooms were clean, quality bedding and well thought out little touches in terms of toiletries (even some books on the shelf). The breakfast was delicious and so much food! But most importantly to note Yugesh was fantastic at attending to our needs whether that be to organise our laundry to be sent out and cleaned, making sure we had everything we needed for breakfast or coming with us on the walk to the bridge to get the best spots to film the train crossing, pictures etc. He was very kind, professional and thoughtful, he really made our trip. Another person to note was Nimal, the TukTuk driver who helped us easily get about. Free shuttle to Ella town from the hotel which is great! Anything else at an extra cost. Highly recommend this unique stay."

"Stay away from this hotel! The hotel rooms isn’t what’s pictured on booking sites, the entrance is through a forest on a mountain and through other buildings. The walls is stained, door is leaking, and the room are nasty. The entrance pathway crumbled under me so a nail went through my foot and got several scratches. It is NOT a hotel, not even a bungalow. I would rather sleep with the homeless dogs than stay there one night. We checked out 30 minutes after we checked in. At least the manager was nice enough to give a full refund and drive us to another hotel."

"Olemme asuneet täällä poikamme. Rent Family oli erittäin ystävällinen, että huoneet on hyvin varustettu, kylpyhuoneessamme oli lämmin vesisuihku ja se oli hyvin puhdas. Homestay on kaksi vierashuonetta. Se on kävelyllä noin 15 -20 minuuttia Ella. Katsotaan terassi oli hyvin kaunis, me näimme sieltä apinoita, riville sarvet. Nashornlinnut vieraili meitä aamiaisessa.Vuokraaja auttoi meitä järjestämään matkan. Myös myöhemmin hän oli meille avuksi ja järjesti meille auton siirron Tangalle Colombo Airport, edullisella hinnalla. Suuri kiitos ja kiitos vielä kerran! Haluamme hyvin mielellämme jäädä takaisin Amado!"

"We booked this hotel well in advance with an advance payment, which based on the request of the hotel. During the advance payment, inquired about the hotel access road for the vehicles, was possible and confirmed by the hotel itself. On the arrival day (16th April) we turned from the main road to the hotel access road and the drive possibility was limited to certain distance from the main road. We tried our best to take our vehicle up to the hotel even with the help of people were in around, was not possible due to the condition of the road. We contacted the hotel and reported this difficulty and unfortunately the option got from the hotel was, somehow take the vehicle up to the hotel. Since it is almost night, no body was willing to assist us in around, unless we walk up to the hotel with all the luggages and belongings. We made our last effort for some time to move our vehicle up to the hotel and we had to give up all our efforts finally. Since the hotel did not take any further assistance towards us, we had to to look for an alternative option to spend the night. We asked for the possibility of getting a shuttle service, was just ignored. Sad part is, still we did not get any favourable assistance or courtesy call to check our condition and this made us a really disappointment with the hotel. We never received such a negative behaviour and negative attitude from any of the hospitality properties. There is no refund for our advance payment even."

"Amazing views from our room! The rooms were spacious with a table and chairs and couch (we had two deluxe rooms for our family). Good air conditioning and comfortable beds. The swimming pool was superb also with amazing views. The breakfast was good. It's about a 10 min walk up the hill to Ella or just catch a tuk tuk. We stayed 3 nights and would definitely stay here again."

We are especially grateful to the whole staff, their team effort, their wonderful care with the welcoming friendly smiles, delicious healthy meals made our stay even more special. However, due to the surrounding chaotic development, the roads are narrow and steep, so driving there is thrilling ㅜㅜ.. Since it is still under construction, only the first floor and some facilities are open, and ingredients are not yet fully prepared.. The staff try to be friendly, but charging that price in the current state is excessive."

Ruoka oli hämmästyttävä, kun kaikki ateriat olivat herkullisia ja hyvin valmistettu. "Tämä vierashuone sijaitsee aivan keskellä metsä. Todella söpö ja hotellin henkilöstö on niin ystävällinen. Hän on hyvin makea ja super apua. Ainoa ongelma on sisäänkäynti on pitkä portaita ja jos sinulla on valtava matkatavara. Huone on mukava, mutta kylpyhuoneella ei ole varusteita, joten tuokaa oma suihku geeli ja shampoo."

"On totta, että tämä Guest House on hieman päässä kaupungin (pienellä tiellä). Mutta kuinka rauhallinen ja mitä aitous. Olen arvostanut paljon vastaanottoa tämän omistautunut herra. Ja kuinka ilo herättää paikka täynnä metsän. Paras aamiainen koko majoitustani Sri Lankassa, jossa on näköala vuorille ja kasvillisuudelle. Huone, alkuperäinen dekorointi ;-) on hyvin puhdas ja tarjoaa kaikki välttämättömät palvelut (super wifi, hiustenkuivaus, välttämättömät peitokset tässä pienissä vuoristokulmassa tuoretta ...). Mutta ennen kaikkea se on aito ja herra on ihana ja pieni hoito, hän todella ansaitsee enemmän työtä. Minä palaan sinne ennen iloa. se muuttuu hotellit! "
