It's close to the city center where all the cafes and restaurants are, and not far from the Nine Arch Bridge. Choose this hotel, you won't regret it."

Misty Villas is truly a beautiful place. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and every one was very friendly and accommodating to the guest. The rooms were luxurious, truly comparable to a 5 star hotel. I would especially like to commend Mr. Roshan, the manager. Who was incredibly kind, friendly, helpful and lovely. His expetional service made our stay even more enjoyable. "Stay away from this hotel! The hotel rooms isn’t what’s pictured on booking sites, the entrance is through a forest on a mountain and through other buildings. The walls is stained, door is leaking, and the room are nasty. The entrance pathway crumbled under me so a nail went through my foot and got several scratches. It is NOT a hotel, not even a bungalow. I would rather sleep with the homeless dogs than stay there one night. We checked out 30 minutes after we checked in. At least the manager was nice enough to give a full refund and drive us to another hotel."

"We had a confirmed booking at “Tea Garden Holiday Inn” in Ella, but on arrival at 7 PM om 20th April, (after informing them in advance), the host /manager refused check-in, saying it’s “not suitable for elderly people.” This was never mentioned during booking, despite us having elderly family members and an infant. We were left stranded at night after a long journey. The host also misled us to another property claiming it was theirs, which turned out to be false and more expensive. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. I would not recommend this place."

"We arrived to celebrate my Dad’s Birthday on 26/07/26. The Birthday welcome was excellent. Our two days at UGA GHIRI felt like gentle escape into a peaceful dream. It was a perfect staycation for a relaxed getaway. It’s a very well maintained cozy Hotel surrounded by the hills beauty and excellent breathing of Ella. Every moment was filled with a friendly smile, calm, warmth and joy. It wasn’t just a stay - it is a feeling we will carry in our hearts for a very long time. Leaving this place was truly the hardest part. We are especially grateful to the whole staff, their team effort, their wonderful care with the welcoming friendly smiles, delicious healthy meals made our stay even more special. We greatly appreciate and are thankful to the Joint Venture Management of Uga Ghiri for introducing this all inclusive experience to this eco friendly tourist area. All the very best to Uga Ghiri. Huone on puhdas, mukava, kaikki on ajateltu pieniä asioita. Aamiainen on valmistettu erityisesti meidän mieltymyksillemme: tuoreet hedelmät, munat, leipä, jopa muzzi! Henkilöstö ei ole virallisesti viisaita, vaan todella hyvä. Jos haluat jäädä yöksi, mutta tuntea huolellisuutta ja levätä sielun – Tämä on juuri sinun paikkasi. "We had a wonderful stay at Greenland Villa. It is perfectly located right next to the Kithal Ella train station, from which you can directly board the famous train that goes through the nine arch bridge. The property was beautiful, very well equipped with everything we needed including a great kitchen. It was clean, well ventilated, and more importantly it felt like home. The owner took time to decorate it with great taste. On top of that he was such a humble and polite person.Upon arrival he gave us a ride to get our groceries; another day he brought us his homegrown vegetables, which was such a nice gesture. Having said that, there were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed. The WiFi connection was not great, probably because of the location, but we struggled with it. And the breakfast was very carb-heavy, which may work for you but wasn't particularly to our liking. Nonetheless, We would book it again if I ever come back to Ella. We can only recommend Greenland villa highly."

"On totta, että tämä Guest House on hieman päässä kaupungin (pienellä tiellä). Mutta kuinka rauhallinen ja mitä aitous. Olen arvostanut paljon vastaanottoa tämän omistautunut herra. Ja kuinka ilo herättää paikka täynnä metsän. Paras aamiainen koko majoitustani Sri Lankassa, jossa on näköala vuorille ja kasvillisuudelle. Huone, alkuperäinen dekorointi ;-) on hyvin puhdas ja tarjoaa kaikki välttämättömät palvelut (super wifi, hiustenkuivaus, välttämättömät peitokset tässä pienissä vuoristokulmassa tuoretta ...). Mutta ennen kaikkea se on aito ja herra on ihana ja pieni hoito, hän todella ansaitsee enemmän työtä. Minä palaan sinne ennen iloa. se muuttuu hotellit! "
