Majoituspaikan vastaus: Hi there, we would like to offer our sincerest apologies that you had such a poor experience with us. At Mad Monkey, we aim to provide a magical experience to our guests that leaves a lasting and memorable impression on not just our hostel but the country of the Philippines as a whole. Due to being a hostel, not a hotel, there are differences in the facilities and amenities that we provide. For instance, the Ctrip listing states that we do not provide hangers, hot showers, or air conditioners, but only personal fans. We are transparent that we are a party hostel under the important notice section. The beverage or any add-ons can be purchased for a separate fee and are not included in the free breakfast menu; our servers will gladly arrange it should you wish to order. The standard van's fare going to town at the tour desk is only PHP 400 per head. However, our guest has the liberty to choose if they want to avail of a tricycle and not book directly with us. Following an assessment, we had our pest control team over the property two days before your arrival; there were no reports of cockroaches and bed bugs because other guests also occupied the room after you departed. It could be sandflies, which are common on Nacpan Island. Nevertheless, we will have our housekeeping and maintenance team look into the other areas you pointed out in your review. Lastly, please know that our team members tried their best to get close to you and approach you, but we did not receive any reports during the stay, thus we were not given a chance to help where we were needed. We apologize if our efforts were not enough, and we hope you are safe for the rest of your travels.
