Tuntui rauhalliselta paikkalta palata pitkän päivän jälkeen, ja olemme yleisesti ottaen hyvin iloisia valinnastamme. Mikä teki suurimman eron meille oli palvelu. Maggie oli erityisen ihana niin ystävällinen, kärsivällinen, ja todellinen apua koko oleskelumme. Hän oli aina lämmin hymy ja teki meistä tuntea tervetullut alusta. On harvinaista tavata joku, joka välittää niin paljon vierailijoiden hyvä kokemus, ja hänen ystävällisyytensä todella ilmestyi. Hän oli yksi syy meidän oleskelu tuntui niin miellyttävä ja muistin. "The hotel is near Zhongshan Square, about a ten-minute walk from Exit D. The staff, including the cleaning aunties, were very friendly and welcoming. However, the soundproofing isn't great. Luckily, it wasn't too noisy during my stay. My air conditioning wasn't working, but the room was quite warm anyway, so it wasn't a big issue. The breakfast was pretty good too."

"Great location near to the central park and 20 minutes from the airport. I got an ocean view room, which was well worth it, and the bed was huge and comfortable. This hotel, when first built, was opulent, classy, and attractive. But now it is in a major need of renovations to cure everything from thread bare carpets to damaged walls and peeling timber. The welcome drink includes an afternoon tea type buffet. The quality of the food is terrible, stay clear of the pastries and coffee, but I stocked up on the fruits, which were delicious. This hotel does not live up to a 5 star rating however it does represent value for money. Next time Im in Dalian I will try another hotel first."

"Came to Dalian with my mom, and for sea views, Grand Hyatt was our top choice. The sea view is absolutely stunning; you can watch the ocean right from your bed. We didn't get to see a sunset during our stay, so we'll definitely come back for a sunrise and sunset next time. Right next to the hotel are Where Where Urchin Pizza and Xiding Urchin Dumplings, both incredibly delicious! The staff were warm and accommodating, and even gave us cute little dolls~"

There's an excellent hot pot restaurant across the road!"

"Booked 2 rooms on a higher floor to enjoy the city views. Unfortunately there was a noticeable toilet smell in both rooms. Reporting this to the hotel staff we were allocated alternative rooms. They still had a smell but it was less pungent than the others. Having stayed at this hotel a few years ago, its showing signs of tiredness in fixtures, fittings and facilities. We were told the hotel will be refurbished in the year ahead. Breakfast buffet is good with a wide selection of western and Asian cuisines. It gets busy, especially at the weekend. There is a decent sized pool though the changing rooms are in need of refurbishment to bring it up to the standard of other 5 star properties in the city. Room rates are currently low to reflect the hotels current situation, as told by a manager when the room smell was reported. Still a great stay thanks to its location and breakfast offering and the room rates. Look forward to its refurbishment in the future."

"This stay deserves a full five-star review! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. What impressed me most was the service from everyone; no matter which staff member I encountered, they'd proactively greet me, which was incredibly heartwarming. The room was spotless, with no overlooked corners, and the gym had a full range of professional equipment. The pool was well-maintained, unlike other places that just go through the motions. This is definitely one of the top-quality hotels I've stayed in, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Dalian."

"The hotel is good for the price. The breakfast room was too crowded. The food was not enough for the number of people that morning. There was a huge trash dumpster not far away rom the front door of the hotel. And next to the dumpster a blue tent like store or temporary storage structure was sort of blocking the street to the hotel. All of these mess really set this hotel in a bad appearance. Otherwise I like the location of the hotel, it’s close to shopping place, to restaurants and subways. And the front desk staff was very helpful to us first time visitors to Dalian."
