It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and super close to Tianjin Street Night Market and Russian Style Street. Whether you're sightseeing or dining, you won't need to go out of your way, saving a ton of travel time. Compared to other hotels in the same area, this one is really affordable, offering incredible value for money. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities were complete and sufficient. The front desk staff were friendly and handled check-in and check-out quickly. Overall, there wasn't a single thing to complain about. It's the perfect place to stay if you're visiting Dalian, and I'll definitely choose it again next time. I genuinely recommend it to everyone!"

"The autumn weather in Dalian is simply delightful, especially when staying at the Shangri-La Hotel. Starting each day with a leisurely stroll and some quiet contemplation along Binhai Road feels like a life lived by the gods. A major perk of staying on the executive floor at the Shangri-La is that your breakfast and dinner are taken care of, and they're always well-prepared. The executive lounge staff, in particular, are incredibly attentive, fulfilling all your needs for drinks and food. Every member of the lounge service team is outstanding! 👍🏻 I stayed for three nights this time and was deeply impressed. For example, Peng Xinyao prepares tea with such meticulous care. Han Yuhang and Zhou Sitong are incredibly quick and efficient with their service. As for Wang Dantong, meeting her felt like catching up with a familiar friend. We got to know each other during my previous three-night stay in July, and the room she arranged this time was equally stunning. It's also worth mentioning the cleaning lady, Xu Guirong. Not only does she clean every corner flawlessly, but she also ensures I have plenty of drinking water every day, so I never run out for my tea. What truly touched me was when she was changing the bed linens; she noticed the room was a bit damp and went out of her way to dry my amenities, making my night's sleep even more comfortable. I was genuinely surprised by her dedication and willingness to go the extra mile in her job – in thirty years of staying in hotels, I've rarely encountered such service. That's why I've booked another three nights at the Dalian Shangri-La in mid-September. It truly feels like a 'home' where you can relax and feel completely at ease."

"The room was quite comfortable. It's great that I could just turn on the bathroom light when sleeping, unlike some hotels where it's all or nothing. The location is excellent, making it super easy to walk to Nanshan Road. I highly recommend checking out "a cup of coffee" there – it's a hidden gem, perfect for a drink and a chat! On the way to Nanshan Style Street, you'll pass through Fenglin Street, where there's an exhibition hall worth visiting. When I went, they were showcasing prints by Ukrainian artist Gennady Vereshchagin, which was fantastic! Getting to Malan Market by taxi is quick and cheap, around 10-20 RMB. Once you're there, look for a 'Yipin Fresh Fish' specialty store; you can sit down and enjoy some amazing sashimi there, too, haha."

"Why only half a star? Because even a full star would feel too much to bear. Please carefully read the hotel's bizarre rules: 1. This hotel has a long history, but it's old and worn. Under the beds are old slippers and cigarette butts, the TV is dilapidated, and the pillows are a chrysanthemum-yellow. 2. The toilets are even more bizarre. There's a toilet supposedly intelligent, but after years of use, it's become... ** (unclear - possibly a typo, should be "smart"). There's also a sexy little bathtub, clearly a relic of many guests' lives. Even the shampoo and shower gel smell like something from the last century after you brush off the dust—indescribable. 3. Breakfast is on the third floor. Eggs are the most luxurious food here—one per person, and they're limited! It comes with soup noodles and rice, which taste no different from animal feed. There are also oddly shaped steamed buns and leftover cold dishes. One has to admire the hotel's frugality."
