"My husband and I stopped at this location while we were on the way from Sarasota to Galveston. My husband had an uneasy feeling the whole time we were there so decided to stay away while I rested. Around 2/230 am my husband said there was a group of boys that pulled up next to my car and started pulling on the handles trying to see if a door was unlocked. We immediately left after seeing this and decided staying at a rest stop and sleeping in the car was safer than staying at this location. Also the air conditioning unit cover fell off the wall after we tried to just turn the AC down. "

"Extremely clean, spacious, and modern hotel that we loved. We stopped here for a quick night to continue a road trip so we weren't expecting much. Attentive staff, clean shared areas and rooms packed with everything you need. Kitchen with stove, sink, fridge, DISHWASHER, plates, silverware, and so many utensils! Spacious desk and drawers with a modern homey feel. Beautiful walk in shower with plenty of fresh towels. We will be staying at other Staybridge Suites if this is the kind of stay we get for such a reasonable price!"
