"We have just returned from 2 weeks at Playa and ill give you an honest review. Check in was very smooth and we were in our room within 15 mins. The room was not exactly what we asked for as we has a mini kitchen and hottub! but were placed right outside the entertainment which shut promptly at 23:30 every night, this turned out to be ok. Food was alway plentyfull and clean but more often than not warm or in some cases cold. Coeliacs (my wife) had stale bread or a packet muffin for breakfast. They cooked chicken and chips, Pizza or Pasta (cold) throughout the day for her which you had to order in advance but became repetative so we ended up eating out a lot. Plenty to do round the park throughout the day with Aqua, Table tennis, darts, footy, crazy golf etc. The pools were kept very clean as was the whole site which really impressed us. Plenty of sunbeds and space around the place which also helped. Evening entertainment was great the first week but was then repeated the second week so we knew which evenings to go out. The kids has a mini disco followed by bingo and a quiz which was fun....The town was a 10 minute walk and has plenty of places to eat / drink and lovely beaches. But the main reason it has a 5 star rating is the staff. From the Cleaners to the Barstaff and Especially Gino and Jorge who my kids adored were outstanding always a smile and nothing was too much trouble. So all in all would highly recommend..."

"Erinomainen budjettitalo, 2 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä El Campinario Centre. Kaikki huoneet ovat nimet, minä oleskelin "Cofete" joka oli erillinen yksityinen kylpyhuone vieressä oven, hyvä suihku. Iso valikoima aamiaista saatavilla hostelli tyyli asennossa. On myös pieni uima-allas (dipping) uima-allas. Jos kamppailet hienon paikan, sen helppo kun tiedät, käänny kadulle auton esteen kanssa aivan Sports Bar ... kävele yläkertaan ja sen viimeinen rakennus oikealla."

"Do not go there had to wait 90 minutes for our meal .. an had to return 3 meals out of the 4 we ordered . Ordered a spaghetti bolognaise.. a did not have any bolognaise in it .. wife ordered steak .. an unless you 560 set of teeth in ye mouth you would have got through the chewiness of it … lasagna… straight out of the microwave… disgusting service … did not care about us at all"

"The hotel is spotlessly clean, located a few minutes from the beach. It’s a huge complex but never felt crowded. A few comments mentioned needing to be out with a towel at 6am. We didn’t find this and either put a towel down before breakfast or simply didn’t bother and we never struggled. Food was generally pretty good and the restaurant service was good. When it came to leaving we could pay 22 euro for a late checkout which worked for us. Now for the not so great bits. The Wi-Fi was less that useless. I brought my laptop to do the odd bit of work but it wasn’t reliable enough. The laptop stayed in the safe all week. Good in one way but if you need reliable Wi-Fi this is not the hotel for you. Don’t be fooled by the talk of 8 pools including an adult only and one with Bali beds. You do not have access to these unless you have paid extra to join the favourite club. We booked the hotel as it had an adults area, if we’d have realised this then we wouldn’t have booked this hotel. Finally from a personal point of view I don’t like vaping. I appreciate some people love the smell of wild berries and puffing it out for everyone else in the bar to smell. My opinion is that if you’re sat inside under a no smoking sign then you probably shouldn’t be vaping. Vaping was acceptable inside the bars here. Great if you love vaping, not so good if you don’t. Different country, different rules so it’s an observation rather than a criticism."
