Our stay was lovely, we loved the breakfast which was included. The room was clean. Good service , staff is very friendly and efficient. The location is great and near Mt. Tapyas

Отель находится на горе, оттуда есть виды на море и порт, но не слишком красивые. Очень удобный сервис по доставке в отель и из него. Вызываете тук-тук и через пару минут стоите на ресепшн, не надо каждый раз после ужина с трудом подниматься в горку. В отеле можно заказать туры по островам, цены как и везде, но забирают из отеля поздно. Если вы едете нырять и загорать, то это нормальный вариант, если же едете на остров Корон в лагуны и озёра, то лучше поищите компанию с более ранним выездом. Номера нормальные, кровати хорошие. Всё чисто, горячая вода в наличии. Неплохие завтраки, хорошо, что они стартуют рано в 6.30 утра. Групповой трансфер из/в аэропорт стоит 250 песо с человека, время в пути 40 минут.

stayed there for 3 nights. breakfast was alright, got a range of options; international and local. room was decent, included all basic needs and a drying rack outside your door. boat trip info are available at the front desk. however, the hotel is uphill meaning a bit of a walk every time you want to go to town/ main street

The location has very good view, very relaxing. The staff are very accomodating. The service is excellent. I would definitely book in this hotel again when i come back.

Les chambres sont très petites, le lit est petit également et la salle de bains aussi. En plus la douche qui est collé aux toilettes et au lavabo n'a pas de rebord donc l'eau coule de partout. Il n'y pas non plus d'emplacement pour mettre ses affaires de toilettes. Le personnel est sympathique dans l'ensemble mais manque de professionnalisme. L'emplacement est bien à l'écart des rues bruyantes mais reste proche du centre. Les petits déjeuners étaient inclus heureusement car les prix à la carte sont très élevées et ce n'est pas bien varié. La wifi n'est pas très bonnes, nous ne captions pas bien dans la chambre. Nous sommes resté 6nuits.

The place is really great as it is very accessible to the town proper. However, the slope going to the hotel is steep so you have to walk on that slope, which will be of inconvenience for travelers with big luggage. Love the fact that they have hot showers installed. The staff is very accommodating and friendly as well.

The staff are awesome, caring and kind. I will book again in this hotel on my next visit..

Siamo stati in questo hotel per 3 GG e siamo stati veramente bene. Stanze pulite, colazione su una terrazza stupenda. Personale gentile. C'è anche il servizio tuk tuk che ti porta nel paesino visto che l'hotel si trova alla fine di una bella salita ma la posizione è buona perché è fuori dal caos di coron ma in due passi sei vicino a ristoranti e negozi!

La cosa che ci ha colpito di più del nostro soggiorno al The Ridge è sicuramente la gentilezza del personale, sopratutto una delle signore che lavora alla reception, di una gentilezza estrema: sempre un saluto quando passavamo per uscire o per rientrare, molto disponibile per qualsiasi cosa, ci ha addirittura detto che c’erano delle medicine a disposizione se ne avessimo avuto bisogno (ci era venuta la febbre). Un altro ragazzo gentilissimo è quello che guida il tuk tuk dell’hotel: servizio ottimo e gratuito! Offrono questo trasporto da e per il centro città visto che l’hotel si trova in cima alla collina e non tutti sono disposti a farsi la salita. L’hotel inoltre si trova in una zona molto tranquilla e, a differenza di quanto leggo in molte recensioni che dicono che c’era rumore, il gallo che canta, non si riesce a dormire… non è assolutamente vero, noi abbiamo dormito benissimo! Per quanto riguarda la stanza era piccola ma pulita, forse l’hotel più pulito che abbiamo trovato nelle Filippine nonostante fosse un 2* (siamo stati anche il 3* ma decisamente più sporchi). Un aspetto da migliorare è la colazione, per noi europei è sempre un po’ difficile… la scelta era tra 6 tipi di colazione diversi ma nessuno era veramente soddisfacente (per noi). Comodo il ristorante all’interno dell’hotel, prezzi bassissimi e cibo nella media. Accettano pagamenti solo in contanti. All’arrivo drink di benvenuto, molto buono. Possibilità di prenotare escursioni e tranfer per l’aeroporto direttamente alla reception.

Lovely little hotel up above Coron Town. Great rooftop with attentive service from staff. Staff were all very kind and welcoming. We stayed with friends for a couple of days and we all had a lovely time. Rooms were reasonably comfortable. Bed was comfy, air conditioning worked well but was perhaps a little loud in the night. Shower could be improved but water was hot, just water pressure was a little low.
