"beware , the beautiful resort photo is a fake . the actual is shown . we paid for a lakeside resort we got a 3 star hotel beside the main road with no view and small old rooms . i appreciate the 1 day refund but we didn’t really get any sleep on our roadside room with so much traffic noise , the toilet and shower was too small . and please don’t say it’s not your photo , it’s very obvious - just apologise and offer a full refund"

"Very comfortable and quiet place to stay. Close to station and a little walk down to the local supermarket- about 10 minutes walk to the lake and restaurants. Staff were wonderful, very polite. The breakfast was great and bed very comfortable. 😊"

"Fantastic Villa in a great location. Francesca was our host. Really helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast really good with Fresh Fruit, meats, cheese and Home baked bread & Cakes. Colico is a great location to explore Lake Como, Bus, Train and boats can take you to anywhere on the lake. Views were Spectacular of the lake and Mountains, from our Room which had a Balcony. Weather was really good most days. We would like to thank Francesca for making our holiday a great success and look forward to returning to Foresteria Villa Margherita in Colico, Lake Como."

"Personnel and breakfast was the best in this place, the rest has a lot to desire. We didn't get the suite as shown on the pics from the advertisment, instead bright room it was dark and humid..not ventilated. No A/C available, although everyone knows about climate changes and higher temperatures also in September. Italians seem to stop electricity by their own timing and not necessity. Besides Colico is not a place who has appeal to stay for longer holidays....better get going and look for more pleasant destinations"
