"Stay away. The apartment itself has mold, the hot water had a yellowish brown color (so only cold showers), the front door was difficult to lock and would jam. We booked on a Tuesday and wanted to leave the Thursday (our original reservation was for Saturday). The staff openly lied about the refund process at first, saying you had to speak with *******. I called ******* and they said the Hotel would be in charge of the refund. The hotel manager would not discuss refunding a portion of our fee. The location is not walkable as the building is situated on an island highway with no sidewalks. The apartment is not worth the low price of admission. We ended up leaving early and ate the lost cash."

"Another fabulous stay at Aegean Dream Hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean. The morning buffet is delightful. Incredible view overlooking the pool and also the Aegean sea. The location is perfect for walking to Karfas beach& Vanilla Cafe and other shops. Several really good places to eat withing walking distance as well as a few bars for a drink with a great view. The pool bar offers wonderful drinks and food here as well."

"Beautifully located near the sea. Easy access to Karfas beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to small center of Karfas, which you can enjoy dinner and walk back to your hotel. Breakfast was average. Rooms are large but require renovation."

Almiriki Chios Rooms & Apartments

"This was our first trip to Chios and we wanted accommodation with an on site pool and proximity to a beach. The hotel is well organized and the beach across the street is nice, sandy and shallow. The amenities in the room are nice- Apivita products, robes, slippers. Breakfast in my opinion was sufficient but maybe because I don’t usually eat breakfast on vacation. There were pastries, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, nuts. They provide really nice beach towels but be warned, people stake out their spots on the beach pretty early. The staff is pretty pragmatic, not friendly and just down to business which is fine. Not exactly sure what room type we had but it was small, yet comfortable. Bathroom was surprisingly spacious for Greece. My only true gripe was that they had restrictive hours for the pool. My hope was that I could do morning laps for exercise but they claimed there was pool cleaning from 8-11. And on my arrival day, they cordoned it off in the middle of the afternoon right when I wanted to take a dip. Granted it’s not a huge pool so trying to get a real workout in was likely not going to happen, but it was just weird. All that said, I would return but would hope for a larger room. The location and proximity to the beach and good tavernas was ideal. (Though no mini market or grocery store)"

"This is wonderful hotel. I would not stay anywhere else. It is very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The food is wonderful. This hotel has it all. Five stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟plus. It is convenient to shopping. Transportation is accessible. There is so much to do and you just feel totally relaxed. It is close to the beach. Located on the beach. Beautiful swimming pool. Bar, restaurant and both. The scenery is magnificent."

"Spitakia Cottages was a perfect choice for our stay in Chios. Our host George was so kind and helpful. We stayed at the room with a terrace. The view was so incredible! The room was so tidy and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The village is so beautiful and peaceful. The location is also very convenient. We felt at home thanks to our great host. Looking forward to coming back!"

"It's a very nice hotel clean, 10 minutes from the snow port with easy access with its own parking lots nice food stores downstairs and supermarkets all beside it! It has a beach with blue flags underneath it, as well as it's near many beaches in case you want to turn the island! Marcella herself, that we say is a service smiling and that we needed it, it served us directly even for rental car we needed! The rooms are clean, just with air conditioning and immediate goods clean them every day with a view of what kind of lectures! That's the bottom. It's just the bottom. It's mostly more for kids. It's or to get in and cool not for swimming! We had a great time at the hotel and on the island and we'll definitely prefer it again!"
