"An absolute pleasure to stay at this venue.The room was clean and welcoming and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was great and lots of it! Above all though it was Carol our host who really made our stay.She couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. She washed my partner’s trousers and put them through the tu blue drier then dropped them off at the door if our room! We asked for milk at 9.30 at night( a bit naughty time wise ai know ) and she gave us a thermos of milk straight away.Extra tea and coffee for our room? No problem! All in all a fantastic stay thank you Carol. Richard and Symon from Nailsworth Gloucestershire."

"Outstanding breakfast with gourmet options. Lovely hosts. Building and room had lots of old fashioned character and charm. Room was small but cosy and had lovely amenities such as very nice quality linens, filtered water, a fan which made the air circulation perfect, and a nicely equipped but compact bathroom. Lovely sit to sit outside and enjoy the garden. Beds were quite narrow and the traffic on the road was heavy and noisy during certain parts of the day. I had thought I had booked a room facing the garden and was disappointed to find it was at the front of the house."

"Thursday lunchtime roast special and dessert only £12.00 yes £12.00 Apart from it being such fantastic value we had a choice of lamb or beef , absolutely beautifully cooked with massive amounts of four vegetables , roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding and extra gravy. Beautiful homemade chocolate and orange cheesecake. Lovely attentive staff. Thank you Haymaker for making a bleak January day so enjoyable.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
