The Flambeau Hideaway, located 20 minutes outside of Mercer, WI, is our 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that sits on the shores of Lake Bastine, one of the original lake basins located on the west-central portion of Turtle Flambeau Flowage. The Flowage consists of over 14,000 acres & over 90% of the surrounding land is state owned & undeveloped; which gives off that true wilderness feel. So many outdoor activities! That’s the beauty of the Northwoods - snowmobiling, skiing, fishing, hiking LIST GOES ON!Species of fish on the Flowage include: walleye, musky, largemouth and smallmouth bass, perch, panfish, northern pike and sturgeon. The town of Mercer is 15 miles away and Manitowish Waters is about a 35 minute drive from the cabin. There are many super club options in both of these towns.
