"The hotel was absolutely incredible from professionalism of staff to the grounds it was on to the decorative pieces in the common areas - elegance and breath-taking views. We based ourselves here to travel to different places via car - Agropoli, Paestum, Temples, Salerno (boat trip), Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Pompeii. We woke up every morning, excited for free breakfast which consisted of eggs, bacon, fresh bread, orange juice and lots more options with an incredible view behind. The only thing we wished we did was the Spa but we didn’t have enough time. We went to various restaurants nearby - Pizzeria Villaggio Dei Pini (pizza), Gnhamburger (burgers) and we ate at the Beach Club which was great service. Couldn’t have asked for a better location away from the tourists places, base myself to explore, experience local culture and cuisine and we had the best holiday!! Thank you and hopefully see you in the future."

"I’m not usually one to leave reviews but I felt incredibly compelled to leave one for Hotel Cerere. We booked a package holiday with an airline and once we arrived, we were greeted by hotel staff who had friendly smiles. One lady checked us in and requested I send my hotel voucher across, absolutely no issue. She then showed us to our room and gave us a wifi code. The wifi was shocking, but being on holiday we didn’t care too much for it. We tried to turn the air-con on and eventually figured it out (all doors/windows have to be closed, it says this in the manual left in the room) but the air-con didn’t actually cool the room down, just the area by the door and it still only blew air out at 24°C, even though we changed it to 20°C as that’s the lowest it said it would go. When a 4-star hotel promises air-con, you’d hope it would work. We went to the pool outside the main hotel which was nice and came up to just below my shoulders (I’m 5ft 9inches). The next morning, we went downstairs for breakfast, the waiting staff were nice and there was a good selection of pastries, cheese, bread and an omelette station (this is the same everyday). The beach is about a 10 minute walk away, and although there is a shuttle we weren’t informed of times or how to use this service. We explored the other pool which is near the residence, and we definitely preferred this one, completely down to personal preference, but it was deeper (my 6ft3 partner couldn’t touch the bottom) and we could properly swim in this pool, it also had a diving board. Our room also got cleaned everyday by the cleaning staff who were absolutely lovely, I cannot fault them. This is unfortunately where the positives end. The communication from the front desk staff was not great, the food you could order from the pool bar was not good, and we felt judged every time we walked through the lobby like we didn’t belong there. When it came to checking out, we got to the front desk expecting to pay for the drinks from the mini-fridge and the tourist tax, however we got told to pay nearly €1600. As said previously, we had booked a package holiday and had already paid for the room through our holiday team. The front desk staff didn’t seem to understand this even though I had sent them the voucher that they had asked for! Eventually another staff member got called in to deal with the situation and it was eventually sorted but it was not how we wanted to end our holiday."

"To visit Paestum or go to a concert in the nearby arena, it is easier to stay in this small building at the centre of the main-place cappuccino. Rooms well treat a great reception extra even late now in this bourg you can eat"

"We spent a wonderful eight days with my daughter. Very pleased with the services we received, the individual approach and care for each guest, the kindness and willingness to meet the requests and needs of the guests. Top hygiene in all hotel facilities (the restaurant, rooms, pool and common public areas). Excellent food and service in the restaurant (of the hotel and of the neighboring sister hotel Savoy where dinner was served if the hotel restaurant was not open). Through local specialties and wines, we got to know Italy and the Campania region better. The organization of weddings in the hotel gave an additional charm, I mention this because the majority of comments refer to this very thing. The music of the wedding celebrations was not loud, and the time of rest was observed. The hotel's beach bar 93 also offer free sunbeds with umbrellas, bottled drinking water and towels, with the option of a light meal on the beach or lunch in the restaurant. Positive: you can use bikes for free to explore the surroundings and the nearby archaeological site in Paestum. Negative: Something that could be improved is the connection from and to the train station in Paestum which is no more than 2 km away. Taxi services are more expensive for those two kilometers than the journey itself to the nearest cities (Salerno, Naples). Maybe arrange a shuttle bus? All in all, an experience we would definitely like to repeat and look forward to."

"Hotel Le Palme on ollut todella hieno kaksi viikkoa. Koko hotellin monimutkaisuus on hyvin ylläpidetty, uima-allasalue kutsuu sinua rentoutua, mutta on myös hyvä paikka purkaa lapsille. Huoneet olivat myös erittäin mukavia ja todella puhtaita. Ruoka ja palvelut olivat erinomaisia, meillä ei ole mitään valitettavaa, ja palaisimme milloin tahansa."

"What a nice find! A lovely hotel in a quiet, isolated area. Perfect if you have a car. Didn't know anything about the dairy farm. A good location for Paestum. Nice rooms, restaurant. Staff was great. Wish I could have stayed longer."
