"Everything was fine; the hotel is right across from the train station. The receptionist was also excellent. However, be aware that the hotel is located next to the train station, and there are a lot of unsavory characters there, including many black people who just sit around the station all day, at the bus stops, doing nothing. It's quite an unpleasant sight. The hotel itself is in perfect order, and it's clean."

"My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France."

"The room was renovated, but it still doesn't have the same layout as the previous Radisson Blue room in Rouen. The space here is cramped. It's in the same building, next to the Ibis, which makes it even worse. The location is good, close to attractions and the train station, and restaurants are all nearby. There are four Paul's restaurants nearby… If you're driving, I'd recommend staying in the town of Bayeux."

"This hotel is a 20-min walk from the train station or barely 5 minutes on the tram. Situated in the old part of Caen, it is in an ideal location for the average tourist wishing to explore the town on foot. A couple of grocery stores are available within 400 meters for those, like me, not wishing to take the offered breakfast ($). The welcome was professional but friendly. Key, payment, information was all dealt with efficiently. The room itself was at the back on the 1st floor, so reasonably quiet. Of a decent size, it was simply decorated (white walls and colored curtains) with basic but comfortable furniture. Bathroom was small but adequate with all that was needed. No problem with cleanliness. Good place to stay overall, in an excellent location, and reasonably priced. "

"This hotel is a gem! There is nothing like it in all of Caen! To these 2 Americans, it felt very Parisian. Incredible location, kind staff who spoke excellent English (which we needed), wonderful hospitality, and though not inexpensive, a very good value! Be prepared to be flexible about parking, but parking is not a problem. Just have to do on-street parking, which is free at night, nearby. Dozens of fabulous restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and shopping nearby. Walking distance to all of the sites!"

"We stayed 5 nights here and we were pleased. We had the Blue room and our other couple had the Yellow room. Both rooms are quite large and roomy. The bathrooms are up to date and clean. This B&B has a great court yard, great for having a glass of wine before heading out for supper. The location was good for walking to the square with lots of restaurants. There was no airconditioning here but they did supply a large fan. We found it quite comfortable. The breakfast was good, but we would have liked some meat and eggs. This place has stairs only and they are rounded old stone. We had no problem with the stairs but they could pose a problem for others. I loved the stairs they fit the house perfect."
