"I must say that it was a fairly good experience overall. There were aspects I appreciated, but there were also some notable drawbacks. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and I found the rates to be quite fair considering the hotel's location and amenities. The staff was generally friendly and attentive, making check-in easy and smoothe. However, one aspect that left me quite disappointed was the pricing of the meals at the hotel's restaurant. While I expected some level of premium pricing due to the location, I found the cost of meals to be extremely high. I also dont know where there is a TV set in the room when it shows no channel On the whole, it is a decent choice for accommodation with fairly good rooms offered at fair rates. Though one might want to explore dining options outside the hotel which might be a more budget-friendly."

"Only 1 bottle of water in room for 2 people. Has AC-great! No one knows the name of local plants. Waited 2 hours for our meal to come-hungry…angry. Had to tell them this was unacceptable and we had 2 staff watching us the whole time and no one noticed we didn’t get food? Only one channel on tv. Then when I turned it on in AMthere was a message across the center of screen saying watched program for 8 hours and I couldn’t get rid of it despite resetting the TV. Bed uncomfortable. Breakfast at 6:30AM was not ready when we went there at 640. If fact they were setting it up the whole time we ate. I would not stay here again!"

"Ystäväni ensimmäinen kommentti oli: "Tunnen kotona" - ja Kikonkolla on varmasti niin lämmin tunne, että tunnet niin tervetullut, että et halua lähteä. Se on täydellinen paikka päästä pois kaupungista ja rentoutua - että hämmästyttävä näky, Tuore ilma, rauhallinen ilma ja yläkertaan, että herkullinen ruoka ja hyvä palvelu :-) Ja vaikka haluat kokea jotain, on niin paljon toimintoja valita ympäri majoitusta. Suosittelen ehdottomasti oleskella vähintään 2-3 yöt! Yksi suosikkini paitsi mukavat huoneet ... pieniä merkkejä, että tulet kohtaamaan ja aina hymyilemään kasvoillesi. Muista, jäädä Kikonko Lodge, Anna täydellinen mielenrauha tietoisena matkustajana, koska johto selvästi arvostaa kestäviä standardeja."

When I asked if there was anything they could do at checkout, they flat out said no. They damaged over $100 worth of clothing and refused to do anything about it."

"Dark, worn and very smelly rooms, bed linen and mosquito nets with holes and dirt, bathroom repulsive due to black mold and yellowed toilets/seats. Advertised pool and fitness center unusable - dirty, not maintained, outdated, a source of danger. Rude staff, especially in the restaurant. Food a disaster, drinks out of date. Only the gardens were well-kept and attractive."
