I enjoyed my stay here a lot. I can say, it was one of my best memories. His hotel is located at the entrance of Fremont Street which is quite nice. You have all time access to Fremont Street.
The energy, vibes, happiness, enjoyment which I felt here, I must admit I have never felt such a feeling like before wherever I travelled across the globe in the past.

"I recently stayed at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, and had a great overall experience. The property is huge, lively, and perfectly located on the Strip. Rooms were clean and comfortable with great view from the room, and despite the crowds, everything was well managed considering it was Christmas holidays . we stayed in the suite room in MGM tower.!
A special mention to the help desk staff—they were extremely cooperative, polite, and genuinely accommodating.
Overall, a classic Vegas hotel with great energy, good service, and professional staff. Would happily stay here again."

"The Excalibur was a great choice. The rooms were clean, spacious and the pillows were great! The staff were very friendly in helping you with just about any question you had. I didn't care for the buffet. Way over priced, limited hours and the food not so special. Nothing open after 10 p.m. to eat and no fridge or microwave in the room.! Also, no comps for reward players. This is the down side. Otherwise it was a good time."

"When we first arrived to check in, the property looked a bit run down. I typically base my stays on photos and reviews, and since this place had an 8.2/10 rating with good reviews and pictures, I felt confident booking it. For something described as a boutique hotel with a spa, I was expecting a more upscale feel.
That said, check-in itself was very smooth and easy.
Finding our room, however, was confusing. The layout isn’t very clear, and we had trouble figuring out which way to go. We were on the second floor, and there’s no elevator—so be prepared to carry your luggage up a full flight of stairs.
Once we finally got to the room, it was very large and spacious, which was a nice surprise. The king bed was comfortable, although it only came with three pillows. Unfortunately, the furniture felt worn and a bit outdated, and the AC unit had a noticeable buildup of dust. There was also no water provided in the room, which would have been appreciated.
One of the biggest disappointments was the pool being closed—especially since it was still 89 degrees at night. That would have really made the stay more enjoyable.
Overall, the pictures online don’t accurately reflect the current condition of the property, which was disappointing."

EExpatI haven’t even checked out yet, but OK, here’s some photos. It is a nice hotel. Resort fees are minimal. They don’t take international cards quite easily for the deposit, but the hotel is the cleanest in the city. There’s a nice vibe inside and the prices are OK. I’m not too crazy about the in-room mini bar, and I would’ve been happier with a couple bottles of complementary water. They have slippers and robes, which is not common in Las Vegas anymore. It’s easy to get picked up and dropped off, but it’s a little difficult to walk to other places. It’s still worth a stay here if you can get the right price. The bed is quite comfortable and the upgrade email that you’ll get after reservation is actually worth it. Nice views.

VVieraskäyttäjäAs you get the keys to condo you are worked to sit through 90 min presentation of time share. (Just what we wanted to refuse attending after long flight) Our condo was located in the very back building #21 with forgettable view of maintenance area. That section was undergoing renovations so pool area was torn up. It’s a full 6 min walk from lobby and amenities to our room. So think twice if you need to get something. Bedroom had tiny little bugs all around that we had to kill, but they did I not come back. Room was adequate but definitely showed wear. The bathroom tub/shower was oversized and huge, but for a late 60’s couple like us, represented a challenge taking a shower and getting in/out while wet. Took me 30 min to figure out how to get the main TV back to English from the chinese language it was set for.
The best feature of this facility is that it is walking distance to the Sphere which was why we were there. But if we had to do over again, we would pay a bit more and stay at the Venitian hotel. Just as close, nicer accommodation with many more amenities close at hand.

Jjackie chambers dahlingThis hotel and casino was really nice. Thank God it's off of the strip. The room that was selected for me was okay. The eyes on the wall was a little creepy, but it was okay. I don't like the fact you couldn't use the refrigerator in the room without being charged. That shouldn't be an issue. So if you get a room at the Palms, bring a cooler, because the refrigerator is off limits unless you want to pay for it.

VVieraskäyttäjäI was a little worried when I exited the freeway and immediately found myself driving through a large homeless encampment. However, it was confined to that one block. The hotel itself does not have homeless hanging outside or milling around.
There is a parking garage, but if your vehicle is taller than 68” you won’t be able to use it. Instead, you’ll have to park in the immediate adjacent covered spaces (none available when we got there at 10:00); but there’s another outdoor lot that was never full on the other side of the hotel- accessible by foot by either walking through the casino or outside about ½ block. Your hotel room key will get you in and out of the outdoor lots and garage.
Hotel staff and security are very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean, but I have asthma so walking through the smokey casino was difficult. I forgot that Vegas is still stuck in the 70’s when it comes to indoor smoking.
We had a room on the 9th floor. There are 4 good sized elevators that arrive quickly and they are clean and don’t smell.
Our room was clean, but no coffee maker and no microwave. There is a small mini fridge- really small. There’s a hairdryer on the wall by the sink. Adequate water pressure in the shower. Enough counter space on both sides of the sink for bathroom items. Shower has soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers- I forgot to let management know that the conditioner was pretty much jammed, but I was able to get some out with a lot of pumping.
Queen beds were comfortable. Very thin “blanket” so if you’re with someone who cranks the AC up, you’ll need a better blanket. The AC unit was a bit loud but I usually have white noise playing to get to sleep so it was good for me. Our room overlooked the freeway and industrial area so we did have freeway noise- again not an issue for me. I liked the shutters instead of drapes. Floors could do away with the carpeting in the rooms.
We didn’t watch any television but there is one.
Surrounding area: Mob Museum is across the street. So is Fremont Street which has some of the oldest hotels and Binions where you can take a photo with a stack of money- I think it’s 1 million dollars.
The California Hotel across the street caters to Hawaiians. You’ll find great Hawaiian food there.
They also have the pool for Main Street use- can’t comment because I didn’t use it.
What I learned today when we headed home is that there’s a Costco (needed gas) 5 minutes away & the escape rooms that my friend said we should check out (we didn’t have time).
There is a fantastic breakfast place 2 blocks down that is always busy. Hash House. If it’s packed, go to the bar to order takeout. Takes 15 minutes and you can grab a table in the food court 100 feet away.

Sealing between connecting rooms is not great as I can smell cigarettes smoke from the other room. Basic in-room amenities such as hand wash, shampoo and body wash are provided which is great. I like the location as it walkable to most attractions on the strip and it's situated between the 2 free tram stations.

The total price for room, fees, and taxes were slightly more than originally quoted through Trip.com. When I mentioned it the person checking me in looked straight in my eyes with no smile and said you want me to go over the fees again? I didn't need that. I think she probably heard this many times and was pretty much telling me she's tired of hearing it. I guess this is expected. The room was clean. I enjoyed PT's sports bar the best. Oh, and Top of the World restaurant was good also. Ordere Ribeye that was cooked to perfect temperature but was salty. But I guess you go there for the view and not the food.

VVieraskäyttäjäWe just spent three nights at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas and I have very mixed feelings about our stay. On the plus side, the property itself is beautiful. The exterior, lobby, and common areas are impressive, with lots of decorative touches and fancy lighting. You can tell this used to be a true five-star resort. We also got a great rate on our room and, at face value, were very happy with it.
Unfortunately, the biggest issue was our bathroom shower. On the second night, the shower stopped working properly — it wouldn’t turn fully on or off and was stuck at an uncomfortable lukewarm temperature. We discovered this late at night and had to stay up waiting for engineers to come repair it. They did fix it, and we were able to shower in the morning and go about our day. The next day, New Year’s Eve, we returned to the room after being out for about five hours and immediately heard a piercing squeal in the hallway. The sound was coming from our suite. When I opened the double doors to the bathroom, the room was filled with hot steam. It appeared that housekeeping had turned on the shower to clean and then couldn’t turn it off; it was blasting extremely hot water at full force. We had the same issue again: no one could stop it. Getting help the second time was difficult. There was a shift change and the hotel was clearly focused on New Year’s Eve festivities. With limited time to get ready, my husband and I ended up having to go shower in the spa (which, thankfully, was still open). By the time we got back, the shower had been fixed again, but the whole situation was a huge inconvenience and took a long time to resolve. Honestly, this room should not have been assigned to anyone given the state of the shower.
To the staff’s credit, everyone we interacted with was kind and tried to be as helpful as they could. No one was rude. Management did offer compensation for the trouble:
• One free night (which we accepted)
• Waived our resort fees (which we accepted)
• Complimentary breakfast (which we didn’t use)
However, our visit to the spa highlighted further maintenance issues:
• The steam rooms in both the men’s and women’s areas weren’t working at all.
• The women’s spa pool had only one working jet; the men’s side didn’t work at all.
• The water was more lukewarm than warm.
• I liked the sauna, but towels and flip-flops that were left there on my first visit were still there the next day, which made me question how often it’s cleaned.
• The shower in the sauna area was out of order, the bathrobes didn’t have matching ties, and the slippers in the women’s area were initially male-sized.
• Both the main outdoor pool and the hot tub were closed.
Given how many amenities were unavailable or not functioning, the $32.50 per night resort fee feels very steep.
There were also some basic room and building issues:
• A loose wooden board under the sink, barely held on by a screw, fell off and landed on my husband’s foot while he was getting ready.
• Many areas of the hotel, especially the guest room hallways and the walk from the parking garage to the lobby, smelled strongly of rotten eggs. It seemed like a sewage issue that someone tried to mask with heavy fragrance, which honestly made it worse.
Overall, this is a property with a lot of potential and a gorgeous exterior, and we appreciated the staff’s kindness and the attempt to make things right with a free night. But the maintenance problems, plumbing issues, spa disrepair, resort fee, and pervasive odor made our stay far less relaxing than we had hoped. With serious investment in repairs and upkeep, this could be an amazing hotel again—but right now, it falls short of what the Hilton name and resort fees suggest.

VVieraskäyttäjäOrleans is an off strip vegas hotel that is currently going through some much needed renovations. They are marketing mobile checkin and mobile room key both of which did not work. The note said I would need to sync my reservation with my Boyd rewards card which the front desk supposed didn't my n request but nothing showed up in the app. The room b itself was comfortable but lacked refrigerator and microwave although most Vegas rooms do. At the prices published online they all should. Lack of TV channels was somewhat problematic when trying to escape the casino. The on-site movie theater and bowling alley did help but if course cost more. The hotel used to provide some coupons to use around the premises during your stay but I did not receive any this stay. I did enjoy Balliwick and Ondori during my stay and found them good and not too pricey. The casino lacks some of the newer slot machines and this trip they seemed to be very tight. Overall the stay was fun.
