"We had a great stay at this hotel after we had our family reunion on their sky lounge. The breakfast options was less than other hotels but the taste was good. The amenities were also okay and the pool was big. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and will definitely go back."

"It has always been relaxing and homey to stay at Canyon Cove. My husband and I have been its customers since 2018 (except during pandemic era).  There are quite a lot of improvements in terms of home and continuous ramp-up of its services - staff have become more attentive, accommodating and helpful. However there certain things that I, personally would like to see retained like - the wooden windows which add nostalgia and old style appeal to it. It’s like a fusion of old and new - modern TVs, new ACs, working safe (for valuables), electronic doors and the old personal ref (kindly fix lavatory faucet in room 507).  I love the breakfast buffet - the coffee is superb…the  by-request egg cooking has a long waiting line (the cooked eggs I believe would be good already unless you increase the number that cooks the by-request omelette). We also love the sinner grilled food by the sea. One comment on the free dinner though (for the condo presentation). it lessens the crowd for the dinner cook-out, it somehow getting abused by people. The cook-out dinner has become sad when it used to be so much fun. Hoping to see more improvements like building ramps to the beach for seniors to enjoy the sea.  Over-all it was fun, relaxing and lovely to experience Canyon Cove and God’s beauty surrounding it. I will keep coming back."

"Its our 2nd time here, and definitely not our last. The room is so spacious, complete basic toiletries, clean bedsheets and towels. The resort is huge and a lot of activities to try like biking, inflatables, billiards, basketball,spa,restaurants etc.. adults and kids will enjoy. Club balai isabel is on our top go-to-resort near metro manila😊 Only one concern is their pool area, I think it needs a deep cleaning, there were moss/lumot in tile spaces. It might cause accidents especially for the kids. Hope they pay attention to that, but nevertheless, pool is still great"

"We had a wonderful overnight stay at the accommodation. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and responsive to our needs. The location is a bit far from the market and convenience stores, so you need to take a ride going there. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and comfortable place to stay. Thank you for the warm hospitality! One small suggestion would be to kindly provide slippers for guests for added comfort."

"i love the view from the 6th floor room though the steps are quite challenging :) they also allow pet which is great though the only concern i had was that they charged me 2K PHP for additional fee on top of the pet cleaning fee per day (which is not part of the fine print) which is kind of weird honestly. they should manage guests of the fees that they will eventually charge for the pets at the onset. apart from this, i dont have any concerns with the property - staff are friendly and location is great!"

"Our stay at Splendido Hotel in Tagaytay was truly relaxing and memorable. The hotel has a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a weekend getaway. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the greenery and the cool Tagaytay breeze. The staff were all very accommodating and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the amenities—especially the pool and golf course—which gave us both relaxation and recreation. The location is also a plus since it’s close to Tagaytay’s main attractions yet far enough to enjoy a quiet retreat away from the busy spots. Overall, Splendido Hotel gave us great value for money and a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking to unwind in Tagaytay."

"Ponter Fino hotel is my favorite hotel for staycation. However, during my stay on Jan 1, 2026, they checked me in so late. Later than 430pm. The reason was there were still guests in the suite room assigned to for late checkout which I think was unreasonable. They coudn't even find alternative room for me. Worst case, they promised to deliver my luggages (although they said attendants were busy which I understand) However, it took unresonably long enough knowing there are attendant / staff who seemed to be free and just volunteered to deliver them only when they saw me carrying the trolley. So I refused to let them carry my stuff and pushed them all by myself from the lobby to my room located at 2nd floor so still need to carry all of them upstairs (back and forth). They offered late yes but out of ego, disappointment, and dissatisfaction, I told them don't help me and I'll do ot myself."

"Overall, it was a great experience. The amenities were amazing — lots of activities to enjoy, whether you're into relaxing or staying active. You definitely won’t run out of things to do! The food was delicious, and the staff were all so kind and accommodating. They even granted our request for a room with a stunning view of Taal Volcano — waking up to that scenery was truly unforgettable. Cleanliness was good, I’d give it a 4 out of 5. There’s a little room for improvement, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with great food, fun activities, and breathtaking views, I highly recommend Canyon Woods!"
