"It was an excellent stay at Scarman for me. The room I stayed in was clean, quiet and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel has a good range of food for breakfast and the selection of food for lunch & dinner was not huge but the food was delicious. I went to the University of Warwick to attend my son's graduation which the venue for the ceremony was within walking distance. To sum up, I am impressed with this hotel and will definitely stay here again."

"Room is great size and has all the basic amenities you'll need in a three star hotel. It's clean and definitely updated compared to how it used to look years ago. Unfortunately, there's no AC, bed is a bit smaller compared to standard hotel. Bathroom was leaking when showering. Tap needs greasing as it was a bit stiff to lift. W/C flush needs fixing so it flushes properly. WiFi was very slow and intermittent. The reception area as well as the building exterior unfortunately still looks tired and dated still after so many years. I wish they'd repaint it as it's next to the bus station. Also, the breakfast food were overcooked. Bacon, chewy, hash brown looks likes cooked in used oil as it's so brown rather than golden colour. The brown bread taste bitter. The coffee wasn't nice either. I think it's time that Britannia invest in modernising their Coventry City centre chain.

"A hotel that’s perfect for public transportation and by car: it’s this. On the square opposite Coventry Rail Station along the main road with drop off access.
Part of the IHG brand, the hotel is stuffed with modern, quirky colourful decor including a silver open top Austin Healy in the reception area. The ground floor is one big open space that navigates from lobby to bar to restaurant/breakfast area and an exit where the outdoors semi enclosed seating area is. It’s Britain, so no heaters or covers but it’s an acceptable smoking area!
Upon checking in we received a 20% voucher off all the F&B which doesn’t happen often. The kitchen was closed by 9 but we and our friends enjoyed a drink in the bar area.
The room was super lovely, all brand new, super clean and nicely decorated. Personalised smart TV but the smart function didn’t work alas! Overall: a wonderful experience!"

"We had a fantastic stay overnight. fabulous staff willing to help very caring and understanding very helpful all the time we was there. breakfast was amazing. I’m very wonderfully presented those everything you wanted and all nicely displayed and absolutely wonderfully clean and the staff was great so Wood come back thank you. However, the hotel is a bit old, the bathroom had a bad smell, and the room lighting is very dim. Overall, the price feels a bit high for what you get."

"It was a nice big room, the bed with four-poster. The receptionists were doing their job properly. We only stayed one night, did not use all the facilities, such as bar, swimming or gym which there were available, only the restaurant.
The bed is too soft, my husband was sank into it. He did not have a good night sleep."

I booked it for three night as I had some business in the area. Due to a recent bad experience with a budget hotel, i though might have a better value for the higher price. I was wrong. Very mediocre service, small room, funky odour, and limited amenities. For the anount I paid i expected a better value. Staff were helpful though.

Other than the location (on the University of Warwick campus itself) the hotel is at best like a Premier Inn or other such budget hotel. It feels and looks like a dorm. One note to anyone walking from campus to hotel: there is no direct access from Arts Centre plaza. You have to walk all the way around business school to access car park. This was very inconvenient in the rain as it added a 5 mins walk.
The room was spacious and clean, though the bathroom sink was clogged when I checked in. Resolved the next day (though the first answer I received when asking for repair was that I may have to move). On second night the hearing went out; housekeeping brought a small radiator heater… no repairman came, however. Resolved the next day.
The food was cafeteria quality (both breakfast and dining room). I recommend eating elsewhere. Bar was ok, but not great.
Overall, I would recommend a different hotel for the price, and taking a cab to campus. Sorry

Absolutely stunning hotel , in acres of land to walk around .
The staff were superb .
Rooms were clean and warm.
Breakfast was buffet style with plenty to choose from.
Will stay again , hopefully to meet the two ghosts that haunt the place .

From checking to checking out - the hotel and all staff have been brilliant. Room was perfect, all the top qualities you would expect to find. Breakfast very good value, lots of options to choose from. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Beware of hidden charges! They charged us £5 extra for parking because we booked through Trip.com, they claimed it was a travel agent and therefore chargeable. Where I booked it said parking included.
Also I had pets with me, despite the 2 routes I went through while booking both said pets welcome, no mention of £15 extra PER pet not room.
Every other hotel and I travel with pets a lot always says how much or additional charge may be applicable. Nothing on this one and they are putting it up to £20 per pet. I showed the way I booked and even checked it out, no mention of a charge. He showed me 3 ways it does through the Wyndham site. Like I am going to go through that because I know who their parent company is🤷. I was stuck over a barrel very tired and nowhere to go so had to pay. However normally I wouldn't, it's wrong, false advertising by commission and I will never use them again. Someone else who used a different method to book was getting a £5 parking charge too, they weren't happy either.

Very pleasant stay.. pub restaurant offered info on food allergies. Food was great. Rooms (I rebooked) were great, bath and shower that actually did what they said… no getting soaked trying to turn on shower. As a single female traveller, felt safe. Will rebook next visit . Staff are friendly and helpful.

I loved staying at the Wyken Inn, in Coventry. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left,I was made to feel very welcome.
The management and all the staff were all so friendly.
The room was very clean and comfortable, The food was great and being a Wheelchair user, nothing was too much trouble for any of them.
I would highly recommend staying here and I am looking forward to going back to stay there in May.

I live local, but due o having housework done and me being disabled, I was advised it would be beneficial for me to be out of the house for a few days.
I picked Double Tree Hilton as they were offering the best price.
I'm so glad I did. The staff could not do enough for you, especially Wendy, she is such an amazing lady, my 10 year old son said to me how amazing and helpful Wendy was and that says it all.
