Hotellit aamiaisella kohteessa Nürnberg

Melter was the best place I stayed in throughout my Germany trip. It was in the centre of the old town, right above the Lorenzkirche U-bahn, 3-5 mins walk from the Hauptbahnof, and only steps away from everything you might need - bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and all the highlights. It's a 10-15 min slightly uphill but beautiful walk to the Castle. The property was extremely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and stylish. Was given an upgrade by Jacqueline (or Jackie) to a studio with a kitchenette overlooking a quaint street; good for cooking. Spacious room, comfortable bed, and beautiful bathroom with nice soaps. Only complaint could be that some rooms (216-219) are not accessible by lift, and require a winding (confusing at first) walk through long corridors to reach, but it was OK for me. Laundry room also had detergent provided; gym was adequate. Did not have breakfast, but had lunch twice at Monki downstairs - impeccable ramen. Overall, this would be a great choice when in Nuremberg. Affordable, beautiful, comfortable, and convenient; and lovely staff - everyone of them took great care of me. Even granted late checkout. Will highly recommend this place.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich das Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Das Bad war sauber und aufgeräumt. Softdrinks aus der Minibar waren im Preis enthalten und es wurde täglich aufgefüllt. Zu aller Überraschung gab es am 6.12 für jeden Gast einen Nikolaus vor der Zimmertür. Das Frühstück bot eine sehr große Auswahl von hoher Qualität. Besonders lecker waren die frisch gemachten Rühreier, Spiegeleier und Omlet nach Wunsch. Der Speisesaal war stets sauber und aufgeräumt…

This is our favourite hotel in Nuremberg!! Attention to detail on every step of the experience, their crews were simply amazing! They are happy to serve you, not one person but every staff that I encountered. I got a surprise birthday cake in my room with a hand written note, am truly grateful and heartfelt. So thank you, Karl August your neighbourhood hotel. 5 stars and beyond. We will be back again for sure!

Looking forward to to meet you guys here especially wonderful staff of this hostel! 🥰 I stayed at Five Reasons Hostel & Hotel on the night of October 3, 2024, and had an excellent experience. I arrived around 1:30 PM and was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, though I’ve forgotten her name. She set a great vibe for my stay, and I was able to check in earlier and even choose my own bed, which was a nice touch. The beds have outlet chargers conveniently placed next to them, and the views from the hostel are stunning. The price is very reasonable, and I hope it stays that way as this hostel could easily get more popular. It’s perfect for anyone seeking serenity and peace, and two of the beds even come with privacy curtains. There’s a lovely garden behind the kitchen, which is well-equipped with cutlery, a water boiler, a fridge, and a kitchenette. The hostel is easy to spot from the train station, and it offers direct transport to the airport, which is super convenient. The kitchen and living room have plenty of seating, making it feel homely. This place is perfect for those who want a quiet, peaceful environment while still having spaces to socialize. I truly wished I could have stayed longer and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere a bit more. And there's a free tour, too! Highly recommended! (please don't increase the price! I'll comeback! 🥰)

Quite easy check-in and hassle free process, took only 2 minutes. Cleanliness was good and the room size is fine for the price. An easy recommendation!

I am here for an international business conference. Room and hotel is clean. Location is very close to uBahn as well. Just across the street is a supermakret and bakery. Very convient as well. However, I dont understand the amenities provided for guest. Kettle to boil hot water - pay 20 euro deposit. (Warm tap water is provided, though not hot enough for tea). Requested for a cup to drink water - pay deposit. Toothbrush - available for purchase. Tooth paste - available for purchase. Tea packets - not available. Microwave is provided, however basic utentils such as fork or spoon require you to pay a deposit. Doesnt make sense for business traveller. There is also no laundry service nor Iron + ironboard available. If you're travelling for leisure, I'll definitely reconmend you to go for it. 5 out of 5. For business, probably not.

The hotel is very easy fitted with self check-in stations and a vending machine with all the necessities. The rooms are nice and cosy. Down the street to the left it is a business district and bus station, so a lot of people and packages everywhere, but to the right is an amazing bakery with delicious breads. The hotel is only a few 100m away from the old town with quite a few restaurants and shops along the way. In the old town almost on every corner is a different musician which really adds to the beauty of this city. Was a great stay!

the biggest problem of this hotel is there is no front desk service. If you are foreign travelling without a German mobile, it will cost you a fortune for you to call the front desk. Also the lady behind the phone, I think, is a Russian. Unless you are a English speaker, it will be quite difficult for you to understand her. Also the wifi availability in each room depends on whereabout your room is. Other than that, there is really nothing to complain about.

The staffs there are very helpful. Superb location for Christmas market there. However, we tried to reserve a parking slot there but turns out fully parked in the hotel parking, we need to drive to city center carpark for 2 overnight parking, Price are very reasonable there tho, €24 for almost 70 hours.
