"Very lovely hotel with friendly staffs. Hotel looks great, everything was clean and room was spacious. Good ventilation even though smoking was allowed, no musky mouldy smell, everywhere smelt great. Had a great view from my room too. They had kids amenities like bedroom slippers, toothbrush etc. Breakfast buffet at the hotel had a great spread and tasted great. Additionally, there is a small theme park within 5mins walking distance from the hotel, my kid enjoyed it. Would recommend this hotel 👍🏻"

They haven’t been really understanding especially the old lady, that also refuse to let me use a empty trail to carry easily the plates to my room, let me trying to take everything up by my own in the hand limited my capacity to bring something nice to her. Nancheng Beiyuan is an urban high-end homestay invested and built by Tongren Youth Hostel Group in the ancient city of Zhongnanmen. Nancheng Beiyuan is located in the core area of Zhongnanmen Ancient City near the entrance of Jinjiang Bridge. The surrounding transportation is very convenient. It is about 10 minutes' drive from Tongren High-speed Railway Station; 40 minutes' drive from Tongren Airport; 80 minutes' drive from Phoenix Ancient City; and 70 minutes' drive from Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area. "Love this place 😘. Everything that I ever wanted to live in an ancient town, this place has ALL to offer. The basement mall is just outside the ancient city where shopping and food malls even a large sized supermarket are all within reach. Matcha cafe is also just 2 minutes walk away from the hotel. This hotel exceeded our expectations by far. The attention to detail and the warm service made it feel extremely special and comfortable. The garden and the rooms are super beautiful with so much attention to detail. It felt like a sacred, holy place with its temple, library and tea room as well as the garden. The staff was very friendly and helped us out a lot with planning our trip. The drive us to the Fanjing Mountain and also organized a driver to pick us up in Tongren when we came and a driver to drive us to Fenghuang the day we left. Also they had amazing foods and although we are vegetarians and don’t eat meat they had plenty of options. We were lucky to meet a master (teacher) of Buddhism and his student (a tea master who was learning about Buddhism from him). They also made this trip very special since we got invited to traditional tea ceremonies and were able to listen to the singing of prayers and traditional Chinese instruments they played for us. This hotel is the perfect place for these sort of guests and it’s perfect if you want a relaxing meditative Chinese experience. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful as well and perfect for going on a walk to explore a little. We hope we will be able to come again in the future.

It was such a surprise find at Fanjingshan. The rooms are big with modern facilities including toilet seat sensor. The inn also has a lift for those with big luggages and don’t want to climb the stairs with them, a feature that is not in all the inns around. We have such a comfortable stay, even if it was just for a night. We took a didi to the inn in the evening and in the morning, the owner drove us to the gate of Fanjingshan to purchase the tickets. He also offered to pick us up when we are done for the day at fjs. He also helped us to engage a driver who drove us to fenghuang ancient town for a fair price based on our cab fare from Tongren to fjs. I will definitely recommend this inn which is also new, opened in March 2023. 房间干净偏大，负有摩登设施。 民宿里也有电梯，无需扛大行李上楼。 我们住得舒适也吃得好。 推荐！

The room was huge and well laid out, with a living room and two toilets, which made the stay very comfortable. A one-time-use bathtub cover was provided for hygiene, which I appreciated. The smart toilet bowl automatically opens the lid—though it still catches me off guard sometimes. I stayed for two nights. As part of my usual routine, I always check the TV and Wi-Fi functionality upon check-in, and I noticed that the TV in the bedroom was not working. I reported this to the reception, but it was not fixed during my stay. On the second night, there were inconsistent loud banging noises coming from the upper floor between 9–10 pm, which sounded like construction. This was also reported to the reception, and they sent a staff member to my room to check. She also heard the noise when I asked her to come inside the room, to my surprise the noise can only be heard in my room, not even outside the door. As I had just returned to the hotel at that time, I told her I would monitor the situation and inform her if the noise continued closer to my bedtime. She was apologetic and mentioned that she would look into the issue. I appreciated her effort, although the noise was disruptive and did affect my overall experience. The hotel is about a 30-minute drive to Tongren Railway Station and around 10 minutes to Tongren Ancient City. I would recommend this hotel if you’re only staying for a short period since there’s nothing much to do other than visiting the Fan Jing Shan Mountain (personal opinion). Side note: bed quality is indeed good, just nice for people with back pain issue.

Minun on sanottava, että en ole koskaan ollut hotellissa rauhallisempaa kuin tässä. Hotellin työläiset olivat meille enemmän kuin apua ja ensimmäistä kertaa 10 päivän aikana Kiinassa he puhuivat hieman englantia, mikä tehtiin majoitusta vielä helpompaa! Makuuhuone oli iso ja sisälsi lämmin tubi, niin rento! Ja kaupunki, jossa hotelli sijaitsee, on todella mukava myös. Tulen varmasti takaisin tähän hotelliin 😊

Nice hotel very close to the fanjingshan gates — you just walk in there. It has nice nature-view rooms, decent restaurant, well-maintained territory. However, to me there's not much else to do there other than go to Fanjingshan. For this particular purpose the hotel is perfect and super nice, but I wont come there just to stay (but its more about me, this is the case with most hotels for me)

A hidden gem! This resort type of hotel is so rare in the area. We opted for this hotel for the gorgeous courtyard type of layout. The hotel deserves the attention and my lengthy review as the architect/ designer has such an exquisite taste which shows off in the smallest details. The select of burl wood trims with marble patterns, stylish lighting fixtures… Rooms are spacious and full of technology. Bathroom with heat floor and even ironized glass which offers instant privacy with a click of a button. This hotel alone is worth couple nights of stay where one could plan a getaway from the city life and fully immerse themselves in the hotel’s garden trails. This hotel is great for tourists who prioritize monetary value as It’s essentially a five star luxury resort for a fraction of the price. However, for those who enjoy a slower pace and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy tourisy area it offers more. This hotel had become an integral part of my spiritual retreat escaping city and exploring the FANJING mountain area. Special thanks to the wonderful customers service team and Lin and Liping for their hospitality.

Honest review about my two-day stay. I'm hoping to see some improvements. Customer Service: Poor. Unresponsive to requests, lacking in providing assistance. Not courteous, which is expected of a hotel staff. Staff: Unaccommodating, often responding with “No” rather than seeking solutions or alternatives. Hotel Room: Good. The automatic toilet feature was a highlight. Cleanliness: Good, but there is potential for improvement. Amenities: Good. Location: Good. Value for Money: Acceptable for a 4-5 star hotel, but the value is diminished by the subpar service. Improvements in customer service and satisfaction are necessary to justify the cost. Overall Experience: Unsatisfactory, especially compared to my other stays at Wyndham hotels. This particular experience did not meet the standards expected from the Wyndham brand, leading to disappointment.

Al realizar el checkin nos quisieron cobrar 100 yuanes como depósito, cuando con el registro de trip no estaba en las condiciones. Contactamos con el equipo de soporte técnico de trip y lo solventaron. Por el resto, todo bien. Nos ha gustado mucho el lugar, siendo una buena localización para ir a las montañas de Fanjing y también recomendamos el dejarse perder por el pueblo.

This was the best service we received in China so far. We booked the hotel quite last moment after contacting the owner, because they were extremely helpful securing for us the Fanjingshan tickets offline (because online tickets were sold out). Then they prepared breakfast and snacks for us before climbing the mountain. It is only a bit over a kilometer from the scenic area entrance. Our concierge Xiao Wu and his hospitality was beyond anything we ever experieneced in any hotel, he helped us organize a transportation, helped with translating, recommended the best restaurants in the area and even handled discounts for us. When it comes to the hotel itself - beautiful smaller place but with lot of rooms. The pool is nice relaxing treat after hard walking the main attraction in the area. Always clean and well organized. The only thing we did not understand was that big rooms had only one double bad, and room with two double beds was comparatively smaller.. I wish more international tourists would visit this area and this hotel in particular, the staff would appreciate practicing some English.. :-)
