"So beautiful island and cute hotel. For me was really big surprise that near Shanghai have such a small and cute place. We choose this hotel because of the pool. It’s was so amazing to open balcony and see u private pool. Actually one pool is sharing between 2 room but nobody swim, so everything was only for us. Also the staff in the hotel is helpful, helped with booking tickets, explained about islands, took us to show bioluminescent plankton. Could be nice if hotel provide one free coffee for breakfast (now need to pay) and some international food (was traditional chinese breakfast)"

"1.帶娃很合適，就在東海漁村，門口就是馬路，不用繞來繞去的。公交站很近，電動車租賃點也很近，就50米的距離，重點是門口就有沙灘，免費的，雖然沙石多點，但是沙子很細，孩子早晚自己帶着工具就可以去沙灘玩。2.整個民宿非常通透，進去就很舒服。3.民宿出門右手邊第二幢樓是家網紅飯店，叫舢舨，去吃了，味道一般般，廣做的好。還有家新開的飯店，民宿出門左邊能看到，叫伍月有船，很推薦！最愛海鮮麪疙瘩，有點貴，但是味道真是絕了！"

"在花嶼愛麗絲的清明假期簡直是一場意外驚喜的治癒之旅！原計劃住3天，結果一場濃霧讓我們意外多留宿了一天，反而成了最美好的安排 。出海釣魚收穫波豐，自己帶了魚竿去海釣，也上了2條海鰻，晚上讓邊上飯店代工，做了一份紅燒海鰻煲。 位置絕佳：民宿就在南灣沙灘旁，步行到海濱浴場不到2分鐘，推開窗就是藍白相間的海島畫卷。每天被海浪聲喚醒，打開窗簾就能看到大海。 服務超暖心：因大霧停航時，管家主動幫我們提供船次訊息，協調續住。店裡的兩集肥柯基是真不怕生，還領着我女兒到村口轉了一圈 。 房間體驗：我們住的海景房視野絕了！清明時節雖然沒看到熒光海，但霧中的花鳥島更像仙境。房間乾淨整潔，早餐的地道海鮮麪連吃了4天都不膩 。 特別推薦給喜歡慢旅行的人——這裏沒有嘈雜的旅遊團，衹有燈塔日落、碼塔線徒步，以及霧散時突然出現的整片藍海。雖然多住一天打亂了行程，卻收穫了旅途中最珍貴的意外浪漫。"

"酒店位置很好，距離東海漁村僅百米，鬧中取靜的好地點。車子可以開到門口，門口屋後有停車場非常方便。第一次來住在了半山其他酒店，出行要麼叫車要麼要下來幾百米台階，如果有長者孩子的實在不方便。 全部海景房，躺在床上既可以觀海～早餐晚餐我們都選擇在室外，美景配美食～房間對比其他酒店要大很多，房間和床鋪都非常乾燥完全沒異味沒有水氣，對海邊的房子來説太難的。我們住的衞生間有窗户，也同樣乾燥沒有異味，裝修風格簡潔大方，沐浴液用的資生堂（老闆娘是有要求的）～ 早餐如圖～已滿足我們需求 晚餐如圖～老闆娘親自下廚，我們多次對比在外用餐，還是老闆娘的晚餐性價比之王了，因此後續都是晚餐回來吃😂～邊晚餐邊欣賞夕陽下的海山船～ 老闆非常有責任心，確認訂單後會幫助確認定船票（不是每家都會給你電話確認你的船票），對於不是常常上島的遊人來説太貼心了。我們8月第一次上島訂了其他酒店沒人聯繫我們，我們想當然的想碼頭現場買車票船票，到碼頭現場才知道需要提前5天預訂車子肯定沒法上島，還好車上帶了一個行李箱當場裝了車上東西停車乘船。這家老闆會提醒我們預訂來回船票，如有困難也會幫助預訂～如此貼心，此次10.1當然毫無猶豫的再次選擇“極宿”～"

RRares MAn excellent stay on Shengshan Island. Before we even arrived, the owner already contacted us on WeChat with information about our stay and gave us very comprehensive tips for our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the boat port, the main entry onto Shengshan, and it is just across it. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived off the boat and helped us get our luggage. They have a very convenient luggage lift which means that you don't have to lug anything up the stairs. The hotel feels clean, luxurious, comfy and homely at the same time. It is a family run hotel and the reception is very warm. Our room was very clean and everything that was needed was provided. The view was spectacular from our room (image provided). The bed was very comfy and the lounger was perfect for watching the sea within the comfort of your room. The pool downstairs is great to cool off after a day out exploring. The breakfast provided was very nice and simple, some youtiao (Chinese fried dough, similar to churros), soy milk and sweet and savoury buns. All in all an excellent experience, and we thank the hosts for everything.

KKiana MendozaShengshan is definitely not an easy place to get to, but staying at Woqu honestly made it so worth it! It’s very guesthouse style, so hosts have a full menu that they can cook for you if you don’t want to go into town for the restaurants. They were all so warm and welcoming, even though my Chinese isn’t very good. Even though they had a larger group of 21 staying at the same time as me, they still checked in on me to make sure that I was comfortable and that I could still have my privacy. They also offered me the number of a driver who was very readily available to take me wherever I wanted. The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view of the ocean. It would be really romantic for a couples’ getaway. I hope that more people come to Shengshan and Gouqi, even for just a day, just so they can experience some of the island-style warmth and hospitality that Woqu had to offer. Thank you again for a wonderful getaway!

VVieraskäyttäjä房間面朝大海，我們的在拐角剛好 對着小海灣，看着對面的山，風景絕美，房間硬件顯示老闆的用心，全自動調控，就是按鍵太多，要研究還一陣子。我最喜歡的是這家民宿的餐廳，梭子蟹炒年糕連吃兩天，老闆會根據我們的需要，向漁船購買相應的海鮮。味道是花錢也在城裡吃不到的。民宿裏東崖絕壁僅5分鐘步行，建議凌晨花這個門票錢看中國第一縷陽光，其他時間就不要去了。無人村應該在5-8月比較好，我們國慶期間去，很多綠植已經敗了，沒那麼好看。去嵊山島主要去吃海鮮，不要比價格，越好的東西越貴。

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break. This is what I liked: - buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min) - they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure - hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant - everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening - good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot - there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early - hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services! - hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai - small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;) - other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China? Overall: highly recommended!

The staff were incredibly nice, cooperative, and always ready to help, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

CcommonelephantFor the cost (especially considering I bought a budget room) this is a good call, especially if your aim is to spend time exploring. It looked a bit down at heel from the outside (Goji berry island is mostly an unpretentious fishing community, not a glamorous destination, but that's part of the charm), but I was pleasantly surprised to find my room quite clean, decently spacious, everything functioning well, and a comfortable bed. Even the partial bay view was nice! Though I don't speak Chinese, the front desk staff were helpful in advising me on things like purchasing return ferry tickets, taxi prices, and restaurant recommendations. (You can try Xianmiao for seafood!) The location is also good, just at the bottom of the hill over to the Houtouwan fishing village, and quite near the island's main restaurant and market street. Breakfast was typical fare, but freshly made.
